  1. Hibees wave fond farewell to player 'played out of position'published at 19:59 GMT 2 February

We asked you Hibs fans what you thought of Dylan Levitt's sudden exit from Easter Road. Here's what you had to say...

G Mac: Not surprised, but also sorry to see Levitt go. Very effective with Dundee United in his natural position playing behind the strikers. Hibs then inexplicably play him as a defensive midfielder, of which they have had many. Hopefully Orient know where to play him. Good luck to him.

Chris: Happy with Hibs so far, though we're dying for a centre-back or two. Levitt is a decent squad player but can see why it makes sense to let him go.

Stevie: Sorry to see Levitt go. He had some really nice touches and linked the play well, but was more peripheral under pressure. Wish him all the best.

James: Dylan Levitt never got utilised in his correct position, never really got a chance. Wish him all the best at Leyton Orient.

James Wilson going from Hearts to Tottenham Hotspur were not the words I was expecting to batter out on the keyboard this evening.

    However…

I know I said the transfer window had slammed shut in England, so you might be wondering why we're still announcing deals from south of the border.

There's always a grace period with these things, so your star player might not be safe just yet.

I'll hold my hands up and say my sorries, that's on me.

  4. Here's Johnny.... at Bolton Wandererspublished at 19:45 GMT 2 February

Well, that came a little from left-field. We've got another exit from Scotland to League One in England.

Johnny Kenny has joined Bolton Wanderers on loan until the end of the season, after failing his audition as Celtic's number nine.

After injury to Kelechi Iheanacho, the 22-year-old had the chance to make the jersey his own but apart from a brief flurry at the end of October, start of November, he turned from clinical to wasteful.

An xG of 6.82 only turned up four goals. Not the number you need at a club like Celtic.

  5. Times are a-changing at Hibs as Dylan heads for exitpublished at 19:36 GMT 2 February

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Sport Scotland

Hibs midfielder Dylan Levitt has left the club to join English League One side Leyton Orient on a permanent deal.

Levitt joined Hibs in July 2023 from Dundee United and played on 82 occasions but has struggled for game time this season.

A former Manchester United youngster and full Wales international, he featured 20 times this season but had no league starts since 13 September.

Just had a gander at that Schalke squad, who are currently top of the 2. Bundesliga but in a real battle for the title.

Ex-Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius, former Man City striker Edin Dzeko, and... Nikola Katic.

Mind him at Rangers? There's always one former SPFL player, isn't there?

    A cinchman, if you will.

  8. Aouchiche departs Aberdeenpublished at 19:21 GMT 2 February

Adil Aouchiche's spell at Pittodrie is over, with the midfielder recalled by Sunderland before moving to German sleeping giants Schalke 04.

Aouchiche was seen as a coup in the summer and played 30 games for the Dons, scoring three goals.

He started most, but fell out of the team following the exit of Jimmy Thelin.

  9. Window slams shut... in Englandpublished at 19:15 GMT 2 February

We probably should have told you this 15 minutes ago but... that's the window closed in England.

It doesn't shut until 11pm up here, so there's still three-and-a-bit hours for clubs to wheel and deal, and sort out their squads.

  10. Celtic closing in on new centre-back?published at 19:12 GMT 2 February

According to reports, Brentford centre-back Benjamin Arthur is on his way to Celtic Park.

Just 20-year-old, he has only three professional appearances to his name.

Motherwell fans may be happier at the news. That could mean Stephen Welsh returns to Fir Park for the remainder of the season.

The centre-back has made two appearances for Celtic since being recalled from his loan in Lanarkshire.

  11. More incomings than outgoings at Easter Roadpublished at 19:07 GMT 2 February

With two players already signed, Hibs have been busy this deadline day

Croatian forward Ante Suto watched Sunday's draw with Rangers, as did German right-back Felix Passlack. Both of those players have now been announced, but could there be more?

Two defenders - Stephan Negru, from Oxford United, and Munashe Garananga, from FC Copenhagen, have both been touted.

There might even be a departure to come.

  12. Bob's your uncle, Hibees sign Antepublished at 19:03 GMT 2 February

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Sport Scotland

Croatian midfielder Ante Suto is the latest recruit at Easter Road.

The 25-year-old joins from the top tier club Slaven Belupo in his homeland on a two-and-a-half year deal.

Suto is an attacking player and with Keiron Bowie now off to Italy, David Gray was keen to add to his strike force before the window closes.

And there may be more business to come at Hibernian before the 11.00pm deadline!

  13. Potential business at Tannadicepublished at 19:00 GMT 2 February

Before we go to Leith, let's check in on Tayside and specifically with Dundee United.

Specifically, there have been links to three players - former St Mirren winger Kyle McAllister, Walsall defender Evan Weir and Emmanuel Agyei.

The Ghanaian midfielder currently plies his trade at Ashdod in Israel.

The rumoured departure of Ivan Dolcek has been rumbling on all month, but there's still nothing solid yet. Julius Eskesen finds himself in the same boat.

It is worth keeping an eye on Dundee tonight.

And not just because I expect them to complete the loan signing of Mexican striker Francisco Valenzuela.

I would not be at all surprised if they further bolster their attacking options with a potentially eye-catching recruit.

It is very much a case of 'watch this space'.

With David Martindale moving upstairs, it’s Marvin Bartley who is now in control of who comes in and who goes out.

  19. Your say on Celtic's Engels decision...published at 18:22 GMT 2 February

Staying with Celtic, Arne Engels looks set to remain at Parkhead as the club reject a deal worth up to £25m from Nottingham Forest. Here's what the fans think...

Owen: Typical Celtic to turn down an amazing offer for a player who has done very little. If they didn't replace him, then that would be like for like.

John: Engels value is a joke. I don't think he's even worth what Celtic paid for him. Not consistent enough. Celtic should have taken Forest's hand off.

Walter: Celtic must be applauded for holding off an English club until the money or time is right to sell. English clubs like to think they can get players from Scotland on the cheap.

Owen: Engels is the best midfielder in the league. Too many 'Celtic da's' talking absolute nonsense saying he goes missing. A club would not bid such exorbitant amounts for a midfielder that goes missing. Often Celtic's best player on the pitch (especially on Europe). Selling him would be handing Hearts or Rangers the title.

Harry: Engels is a talented player who will further develop his career outside of Scotland. Celtic should accept the £25 million offer.

  20. Adamu joins Celticpublished at 18:14 GMT 2 February

Celtic have announced the signing of Austria international Junior Adamu on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy at the campaign's end.

The 24-year-old is a striker, who can play wide. We'll call him a forward, then.

He arrives from Freiburg and has made 29 appearances so far this season, including in the Europa League.

That's the third signing of the January window - all of them loans, so far.
