  1. Pittodrie, my dear Watsonpublished at 21:19 GMT 2 February

Another potential exit from Kilmarnock - but not for a while.

Reports have emerged that star midfielder David Watson could sign a pre-contract at Aberdeen.

Watson has been linked with moves away from Ayrshire before, but that was when his star was a little higher, having just broken through as a teenager.

These rumours first emerged in November, but they've reared their head again.

  2. Could Aouchiche be followed out the exit door?published at 21:12 GMT 2 February

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland

Adil Aouchiche is Aberdeen's first departure of the night. It's fair to say he had an up and down time at Pittodrie.

And while he is the first Dons departure of the night, will he be the last?

It would come as no surprise if there were more to follow him through the Pittodrie exit door as Aberdeen try and reshape their squad in a bid to turn around what has been a faltering campaign so far.

  3. Mvuka to Celtic still on?published at 21:09 GMT 2 February

    This is an interesting one.

There are some reports online suggesting a delay with Celtic's signing of Joel Mvuka, potentially to do with the medical.

I'm hearing that this deal may not necessarily dead. More to follow in the next couple of hours as we edge nearer to the 11pm cut-off point.

  4. Hoilett heads outpublished at 21:06 GMT 2 February

There's the departure we expected from Easter Road.

Junior Hoilett has left Hibernian after 18 months at the club.

The Canadian international joined on a free transfer after a short spell at Aberdeen.

The 35-year-old scored three goals this season but was mainly used from the bench and will join English League two side Swindon Town in the hope he will have more game time and force his way into the Canadian World Cup squad.

  5. How are you feeling Celtic fans?published at 21:04 GMT 2 February

How are you feeling, Celtic fans?

You've got your man in Junior Adamu. Arne Engels is staying, despite a £25m offer from Nottingham Forest.

Linked with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, young centre-back Benjamin Arthur, and winger Joel Mvaku.

  6. Celtic linked to former England starpublished at 20:58 GMT 2 February

Reports coming in from Sky Sports' journalist Anthony Joseph that Celtic are looking at Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The midfielder, 32, has been a free agent since leaving Besiktas last summer.

He is currently training at Arsenal, his former club, and could join after the 11pm deadline given he is currently unattached.

  7. 'Underachiever Aouchiche not an SPFL-player'published at 20:55 GMT 2 February

Aberdeen fans, we asked you what you thought of Adil Aouchiche's exit. Here's a taste of what you had to say...

Alan: Aouchiche epitomizes everything that was so badly wrong about our recruitment. He started most games for Thelin and had no meaningful impact on any of them! Wrong type of player for Scottish football, as most of our pre-season signings were.

Andy: Aouchiche will not be missed at Aberdeen. Another player brought in with no real consideration about the demands of representing Aberdeen and competing within the SPFL. He had technical ability but didn't fancy it when things got scrappy and tough.

Alistair: Aberdeen's squad continues to be a revolving door. Never going to have any consistency unless they can pick some sort of settled team.

John: Aouchiche going is no big loss. There was talent there but seldom showed it and hid a lot of the time, other than a couple of games against Dundee. Good luck to him but he underachieved.

  8. St Johnstone add another strikerpublished at 20:50 GMT 2 February

Get ready for a new face at championship leaders St Johnstone.

I'm told the deal is done to take striker Ruari Paton to Perth on loan from Port Vale.

The Irishman was on loan at Dundee United in the second half of last season, and has previously been prolific in the Championship for Queen's Park.

  9. Hibs fans… more to come... possibly!published at 20:46 GMT 2 February

Just when you thought it was all over in terms of Hibs, the Easter Road side may end up being one of the busiest in Scotland on deadline day.

Potentially one more in and one more out… Remain focused!

I would be surprised if there are any more incomings at Dundee United.

  11. Hearts all done and dustedpublished at 20:41 GMT 2 February

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Sport Scotland

As James Wilson toddles on down to Tottenham that will end the transfer activity for Hearts in this window.

I don’t think, however, there will be much outcry from the Jambos support as they sit six points clear at the top and with Islam Chesnokov and Rogers Mato adding firepower for the season run-in, Derek McInnes' side look well placed for a title push.

  12. Kilmarnock signings donepublished at 20:40 GMT 2 February

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Sport Scotland

Aaron Tshibola was Kilmarnock's sixth addition this window, following the arrivals of Nicky Clescenco, Joe Hugill, Michael Schonning-Larsen, Findlay Curtis and Kelle Roos.

With that, the Rugby Park side is done for business, certainly in terms of players in-coming. We await to see who, if anyone, departs.

Rangers midfielder Joe Rothwell has joined English Championship side Sheffield United on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.

The midfielder only signed at Ibrox in the summer, one of the Russell Martin revolution, but it never worked out for the Englishman.

He's not started a league game since October, and featured sparingly under new head coach Danny Rohl.

There might be more news coming from Ibrox shortly...

  15. All Wright on the nightpublished at 20:31 GMT 2 February

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland

Those of you who were paying attention earlier may remember me teasing you about a possible eye-catching signing at Dundee.

The Dark Blues have lured winger Scott Wright back to Scotland from Birmingham City on loan for the remainder of the season.

The former Aberdeen and Rangers winger left Ibrox for St Andrew’s on a three-year-deal in the summer of 2024.

His time at Birmingham has been disrupted by a knee injury, but he recently returned to action, and will be hoping the move to Tayside can help reignite his career.

At 28, he still has plenty to offer, and if he can stay fit there is no doubt he could prove to be a real asset in the attacking third for Steven Pressley’s side between now and the summer.

This will be Wright’s second spell on loan at Dens Park, having had a impressive stint there in 2019.

  18. Wilson joins Spurs on initial loan dealpublished at 20:19 GMT 2 February

Scotland's youngest men's player in the pro era is on the move.

James Wilson has joined Tottenham Hotspur on loan from Hearts, with a permanent move on the cards in the summer should he impress.

The 18-year-old, who made his international debut in March of last year, has barely played for Hearts this season but made the breakthrough in the last campaign.

He has eight goals in 45 appearances for Hearts, with just 10 of those coming this season. He started just once in the league campaign.

  19. United add Agyei to midfield engine roompublished at 20:10 GMT 2 February

United have announced their third signing of the January window, Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyei.

The 21-year-old arrives from FC Ashdod in Israel, having previously played for Dreams FC in his homeland.

“Emmanuel is a player who's energy and willingness to play forward quickly caught our attention," manager Jim Goodwin told the club website.

"He’s comfortable receiving the ball under pressure and has shown he can operate in different roles, whether that’s sitting in front of the backline or playing in a more advanced, box-to-box position."
