  2. 'Chermiti has to let fly'published at 14:14 GMT 1 February

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

    Andy Halliday
    Motherwell midfielder on BBC Sportsound

Chermiti just lacks that conviction as a goalscorer. It opens up for him to have a shot. I think he's got to let fly there.

  3. Postpublished at 14:14 GMT 1 February

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

Youssef Chermiti bamboozles Grant Hanley with a cute step over but the Rangers striker doesn't get a shot away from near the edge of the penalty box.

Hibs then shuffle the ball to safety.

  4. 'Andrews like to dictate'published at 14:12 GMT 1 February

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

I thought he made a great impact at Motherwell. Kai is someone who likes to get his foot on the ball and dictate the game.

  5. Andrews on for Chaiwapublished at 14:11 GMT 1 February

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

Kai Andrews is on for his Hibs debut, having joined on loan from Coventry City this week.

The 19-year-old was with Motherwell for the second half of last season and did have a very good game in a 2-1 win at Ibrox.

  7. Livingston move Martindale upstairspublished at 14:08 GMT 1 February

David Martindale has moved into a new role with Livingston, becoming sporting director while Marvin Bartley takes over as manager.

"I have to take accountability for this terrible run we have been on," Martindale told the club website. "This season has proven incredibly difficult for a number of reasons, and I fully understand that change was necessary at the Club.

“I believe Marvin, supported by the staff and players at the club, has the squad and ability to keep us in the league, but I know how big a job that will be.

"I will be here to offer any support I can going forward, but I am also conscious that there has to be a clear divide between my new role and the first-team footballing department."

  8. 'Rangers players not happy'published at 14:06 GMT 1 February

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

    Andy Halliday
Former Rangers midfielder on BBC Sportsound

Good ball in by Thelo Aasgaard. Rangers players aren't too happy, they felt that came off a Hibs body.

  9. CLOSE!published at 14:06 GMT 1 February

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

Corner to Rangers as a shot is deflected wide... A Thelo Aasgaard delivery is nodded into the six yard box and it looks like the final touch is from a Hibs player as the ball zips over the crossbar.

However, a goal kick is given.

Miguel Chaiwa takes the ball flush in the face as the Hibs midfielder tries to break forward.

He's down on the turf getting a sponge run over his watering eyes but should be okay to continue.

BBC Sport Scotland at Easter Road

The positivity that surrounded Easter Road at the start of the year has diminished in recent weeks after two hugely disappointing results.

But this fixture gives the players and management the perfect opportunity to rekindle hopes around the club especially given they have waited almost 20 years since a top flight win at Easter Road against Rangers.

The visitors are on a real roll domestically and they will want to maintain pressure on Hearts and possibly widen the gap on Celtic.

A lot of eyes will be on Andreas Skov Olsen to see if he can make that open-play difference for Rangers.

  14. Can Hibs get on front foot?published at 13:56 GMT 1 February

    Hibernian v Rangers (14:00)

    Scott Allan
Former Hibs midfielder on BBC Sportsound

Hibs need to make Rangers defend. They haven't done that enough in the last three meetings. I expect them to come out of the traps quickly.

  15. 'Makes no sense' for Rangers to 'look too far ahead'published at 13:53 GMT 1 February

    Hibernian v Rangers (14:00)

Ranges boss Danny Rohl tells BBC Scotland: "You have to use the squad, it's important. We expect a high-energy game today from our opponent, they had a little bit of rest during the week which could be an advantage to them, but we're ready.

"When I arrived here it was important to turn things around, get results, work on performances - you see it the past couple of weeks, it's been fantastic from the group. The wins haven't been easy.

"My group is growing, growing, growing. We know how tough a place it is here. We have to be ready, then we will see. It makes no sense to look too much ahead. Big games ahead, we have to go step by step, game by game."

  16. 'Hibs need complete performance'published at 13:50 GMT 1 February

    Hibernian v Rangers (14:00)

Hibs boss David Gray tells BBC Scotland "I'm glad we've been able to react very quickly [to Kieron Bowie leaving]. Kieron's no longer here, it's a brilliant opportunity for him and he fully deserves his move, but it's brilliant for the club as well.

"This is a really difficult fixture, history shows that. It's going to take a complete performance to [win]. Today gives us a good chance to move on [from Falkirk defeat]."

On whether Thibault Klidje's absence is also transfer related, Gray says: "He missed last weekend through illness. He's only part-trained this week. He's not quite fit enough."

  17. 'Sterling return a big plus'published at 13:46 GMT 1 February

    Hibernian v Rangers (14:00)

    Andy Halliday
    Motherwell midfielder on BBC Sportsound

The return of Dujon Sterling is a real positive for Rangers. Hibs have real athleticism and I expect Rangers will need to be strong defensively in one v one situations.

  18. 'Great piece of business for Hibs'published at 13:43 GMT 1 February

    Hibernian v Rangers (14:00)

    Scott Allan
Former Hibs midfielder on BBC Sportsound

Selling Kieron Bowie is a great piece of business for Hibs.

They bought him for £600,000, he played 40 games, and they're selling him for £6m or whatever it is - and they have two replacements ready to go.

  19. Postpublished at 13:39 GMT 1 February

    Hibernian v Rangers (14:00)

Hibs did beat Rangers 2-0 at Ibrox last April, but you have to go all the way back to September 2006 for their most recent top flight home win in this fixture.

Since then Rangers are unbeaten in 27 Premiership visits to Easter Road, winning 17 of those.

An eight-game winning streak came to an end for Rangers away to Porto on Thursday.

Will Danny Rohl's side bounce back to rediscover their impressive domestic groove?

They've certainly had Hibs' number this season, winning three times against the Edinburgh side without conceding.
