It's a wonderful finish. Great work from Cherki initially. That's what Man City need to do, they know they need to go into the box with pace and put the Nottingham Forest players under pressure. It's a difficult height to score from, it's really good from someone on exceptional form.

"There's no value in the January transfer market," Sir Alex Ferguson once said.

Well, Manchester City's winter acquisition Antoine Semenyo is showing what you can get.

The Ghanaian volleys home a lovely finish for his seventh goal since joining City from Bournemouth.

A few nervous faces in the Arsenal end as Martin Zubimendi goes down and needs treatment.

He's limping rather gingerly but looks like he'll be able to carry on.

Matty Cash goes in the book for bringing Alejandro Garnacho down.

Taking one for the team, that was.

Ollie Watkins is through at an angle. He absolutely hammers one towards goal and Filip Jorgensen keeps it out with the flick of his arm.

    Antoine Semenyo (31 mins)

    Antoine Semenyo is on fire!

Rayan Cherki dances his way towards the byline before clipping in a cross to the centre of the box, where Semenyo meets it with a cushioned mid-air volley that is past Matz Sels in a flash.

That's Semenyo's fifth goal in eight Premier League games for City. What a signing he is proving to be.

Emi Martinez loses Moises Caicedo's low ball into the box and it dribbles behind for a corner.

Chelsea are playing quite well here.

A long way to go at Villa Park and we have not even started here yet but as it stands, Manchester United have a chance to go nine points clear of Chelsea.

Even saying it is a possibility feels mad.

Michael Carrick has done a phenomenal job at Manchester United so far.

Not really sure what Declan Rice is trying to do with that free-kick as he drops it on the roof of the net.

    Brighton 0-1 Arsenal

Gabriel Martinelli goes past Diego Gomez with ease and wins Arsenal a free-kick in a decent spot to deliver.

    Fulham 0-0 West Ham

Alex Iwobi looks to curl a strike into the top corner with the outside of his right boot, but he doesn't get enough curl on it and Mads Hermansen catches.

Iwobi scored a cracking goal on Sunday, but that would have been quite something.

Mikel Arteta and Fabian Hurzeler are pointing the finger at each other in their technical areas.

    We love to see it.

    Man City 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Erling Haaland looks to beat Nikola Milenkovic to Antoine Semenyo's slipped through ball, but the defender gets a foot in. The ball falls to Semenyo, but he blazes over with Matz Sels off his line!

Forest then go up the other end and Morgan Gibbs-White looks to slot past Gianluigi Donnarumma, but the big Italian gets down low to hold the shot.

Are we finally seeing Saka stepping up? This Arsenal team need their attackers stepping up in the goals contribution as much as their defenders. A line you would never thought you’d say 5 years ago!

Emi Martinez collects the ball and launches it forward for Ollie Watkins. He's under pressure from Trevoh Chalobah and can only find the hands of Filip Jorgensen.

  16. Postpublished at 19:54 GMT 4 March

    Man City 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden are constantly buzzing around the edge of the Forest penalty area, trying to find a way through.

Silva takes it upon himself to go along - he cuts inside and lets off a fierce strike that smacks Forest defender Nikola Milenkovic straight in the head.

City recycle the ball and Foden has a low shot gathered by Matz Sels at the second attempt.

The Nottingham Forest analysts are sitting close by and one of them is getting rather frustrated.

The visitors have barely been out of their own half so far and had just 25% possession.

  20. Steve Holland glad to see Nick Popepublished at 19:51 GMT 4 March

Newcastle v Man Utd (20:15 GMT)

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport Manchester United reporter at St James' Park

Manchester United coach Steve Holland was watching the visitors doing their warm up when a familiar face jogged by.

Holland worked with Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope with England and was clearly delighted to see the 33-year-old.

I suspect Pope wishes he was playing and it was Aaron Ramsdale fielding the starting goalkeepers' long kicks downfield.
