    Norwich 0-0 Southampton

Jovon Makama finds Jacob Wright just inside the Southampton box but a tackle comes in just as he unloads the shot and it's deflected behind for a corner.

The home fans are gaining encouragement from their side's response to a poor start where the visitors hit the bar.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:49 GMT 13 December 2025

    Stoke 0-0 Swansea

Liam Cullen is first into the book as the Swans midfielder drags back Junior Tchamadeu as he bursts towards the box.

  3. Postpublished at 12:49 GMT 13 December 2025

    Norwich 0-0 Southampton

Another chance for Norwich but again it's a wild effort, this time from Amankwah Forson as his effort sails into the stratosphere.

This game is popping along very nicely, we just need a goal fellas.

    Oxford 0-0 Preston

After a more animated few minutes, things have calmed down somewhat at the Kassam Stadium.

Oxford, to their credit, have worked their way back into this game after Preston dominated the possession in the opening stages.

Just one shot on target between the pair of them so far, mind.

Suspended Preston boss Paul Heckingbottom is watching on from up high...

    Norwich 0-0 Southampton

Some nice, crisp passing from Norwich around the Southampton box does not produce a shot but there seems some confidence building in the home side.

Ben Chrisene then does decide to take a dip at goal but it's horribly sliced over the bar.

  6. 'Good start for Oxford'published at 12:47 GMT 13 December 2025

    Oxford 0-0 Preston

    Peter Rhoades-Brown
Former Oxford and Chelsea winger on BBC Radio Oxford

It's a good start from Oxford.

I know it's only 15 minutes in but I'm proud of what I've seen so far. Possession wise, in the centre and final third, I think we're in the ascendency.

  7. Postpublished at 12:45 GMT 13 December 2025

    Stoke 0-0 Swansea

Swansea have their first corner which causes a momentary panic in the box before Stoke clear.

Eom Ji-Sung is then fortunate not to go into the book as he drags down Million Manhoef as the Potters attempt a fast break.

    Plenty going on.

    Stoke 0-0 Swansea

A lovely move from Stoke opens up Swansea as quick passing and movement off the ball from Sorba Thomas and Million Manhoef gives Ben Wilmott a chance eight yards out.

He can't quite wrap his foot around the chance and steers a low effort past the left-hand post.

Swansea again respond with a quick break, which finds Josh Tymon on the edge of the box.

He sends a low effort past the far post with Zan Vipotnik just unable to get a touch.

  9. 'Saints very assured'published at 12:43 GMT 13 December 2025

    Norwich 0-0 Southampton

    Rob Newman
Former Norwich defender on BBC Radio Norfolk

Southampton are playing very assured football, they look confident at the back.

This is going to be a good test for Norwich, they're hanging in there at the moment.

    Oxford 0-0 Preston

Pol Valentin whips a ball into the Oxford box as Preston make a break upfield now.

His delivery is met by Harrison Armstrong but he can only turn his headed effort wide of the mark.

Meanwhile at the other end, Oxford win a corner and Brian De Keersmaecker sends it into the box and Greg Leigh heads straight at Preston keeper Daniel Iversen.

  11. Postpublished at 12:42 GMT 13 December 2025

    Norwich 0-0 Southampton

Norwich goalkeeper Vladan Kovacevic races out of his area to clear some danger but only finds Finn Azaz.

The Southampton forward lines up a shot but it's over the bar from distance with Kovacevic struggling to regain his ground.

A lively start in the Norfolk sunshine.

  12. Postpublished at 12:39 GMT 13 December 2025

    Oxford 0-0 Preston

Oxford win a free-kick just outside the Preston box and in a dangerous area.

Brian De Keersmaecker stands over it but his whipped ball into the box is well dealt with by the visitors.

  13. Postpublished at 12:39 GMT 13 December 2025

    Norwich 0-0 Southampton

    A threat from Norwich.

A brilliant ball across the face of goal by Kenny McLean is begging to be touched in but Jovon Makama fails to make contact.

  14. Postpublished at 12:38 GMT 13 December 2025

    Norwich 0-0 Southampton

Dear me, Norwich are all over the place at the back.

They fail to clear a corner and Nathan Wood's shot is about two inches wide of the post.

The home side are showing us why they are struggling.

Southampton are showing us why they have been so good recenrtly.

  15. Postpublished at 12:36 GMT 13 December 2025

    Stoke 0-0 Swansea

Fast start from Stoke who are giving the Swansea back four no time on the ball.

Pressure in midfield then wins back possession and Robert Bozenik has the first attempt of the match from the edge of the box. It's comfortable enough for Swans keeper Lawrence Vigouroux.

At the other end, Liam Cullen's sweet through ball then almost finds Zan Vipotnik's run behind the Stoke defence, but the striker's first touch lets him down.

  16. Postpublished at 12:36 GMT 13 December 2025

    Oxford 0-0 Preston

Bit of a scrappy start, here.

Preston have had more of the ball but as yet they've done done a whole lot with it.

Oxford defender Michal Helik was forced into a headed clearance as the Lilywhites made a race to the box but as yet there's yet to be a major breakthrough in the opening stages.

  17. Postpublished at 12:36 GMT 13 December 2025

    Norwich 0-0 Southampton

Adam Armstrong, Finn Azaz and Leo Scienza have scored more goals this season for Southampton (20 combined) than the Norwich starting line up have managed in their careers so far.

How will the Canaries fare today without their top scorer, Josh Sargent?

Although in saying that the USA striker has only scored once in his past 16 appearances.

    Norwich 0-0 Southampton

Southampton's Leo Scienza takes a heavy challenge in the opening seconds.

He's grimacing but is fine to carry on and it's a free kick outside the box which Scienza sends against the underside of the bar.

A huge let off for Norwich.
