    Oxford 1-2 Preston

A reminder that Oxford boss Gary Rowett has never lost a Championship game against Preston as a manager - a run of 15 games.

15 minutes remain for him to keep that record.

  2. 'North End holding on'published at 14:02 GMT 13 December 2025

    Oxford 1-2 Preston

    Jack Bridge
    BBC Radio Lancashire

I think Gary Rowett will be happy with the frustration of the North End players.

The key in this final 15 minutes will be if North End can hit Oxford on the break.

  3. Postpublished at 14:00 GMT 13 December 2025

    Norwich 2-1 Southampton

Norwich have dropped 15 points from winning positions this season.

Along with Southampton (15) that's the most in the Championship.

Saints have just started to knock it around again.

Could they feed on any nerves from the home side?

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:57 GMT 13 December 2025

    Stoke 2-0 Swansea

Best moment of the second half for the visitors as substitute Zeidane Inoussa's low drive from the edge of the box forces Viktor Johannson to parry clear before gathering.

Then straight down the other end gets on the end of a fast break and sends in a low angled drive which Lawrence Vigouroux pushes away.

    End to end.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:56 GMT 13 December 2025

    Oxford 1-2 Preston

    How are Oxford not level?!

What a transformation from the hosts and half-time sub Stan Mills has been instrumental in their turnaround.

This time Mills sends in a ball from the right which is met by Will Lankshear, whose close range effort cannons off the crossbar.

  6. 'Wright standout performer'published at 13:55 GMT 13 December 2025

    Norwich 2-1 Southampton

    Rob Newman
Former Norwich defender on BBC Radio Norfolk

I think Jacob Wright has been the standout performer in the game today.

I'm surprised he's been taken off so soon, but the standing ovation is fully justified for him.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:55 GMT 13 December 2025

    Norwich 2-1 Southampton

Changes for Norwich, two of them.

Jacob Wright has been very effective today but he goes off along with Ben Chrisene.

Jose Cordoba and Emiliano Marcondes are on.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:53 GMT 13 December 2025

    Stoke 2-0 Swansea

It's a long way back for Swansea now who have scored only seven times on their travels this season.

It will be a huge relief to Stoke who had lost five of their previous six going into the lunchtime kick-off.

Swansea keeper Lawrence Vigouroux then has to get down low to keep out Million Manhoef's angled drive from the left of the six-yard box.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:53 GMT 13 December 2025

    Norwich 2-1 Southampton

Southampton bring on Cameron Bragg and Wellington.

Ryan Fraser and Caspar Jander are withdrawn.

Norwich break swiftly again and Ben Chrisene's cross just evades the lunge of Jacob Wright.

Incidentally, Southampton are still angry about that second Norwich goal - Jovon Makama definitely sent the ball over the line with his hand.

    VAR anyone?

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:51 GMT 13 December 2025

    Oxford 1-2 Preston

Oxford look transformed in the past 10 minutes.

Ole Romenij tries his luck on the edge of the box and forces Preston keeper Daniel Iversen into another save.

That's his final effort of the game as he's hauled off with Tyler Goodrham replacing him.

  11. 'Oxford putting on the pressure'published at 13:50 GMT 13 December 2025

    Oxford 1-2 Preston

    Peter Rhoades-Brown
Former Oxford and Chelsea winger on BBC Radio Oxford

This is good pressure from Oxford, we've got our foot on the gas.

We're on the ascendency, we just need to keep it up and grab a goal in the next 10 minutes.

    Jovon Makama (61 mins)

Back in front but there's a huge amount of controversy over this Norwich goal.

Harry Darling nods down a Jacob Wright cross and Jovon Makama gets something on it to divert the ball in.

It looks like it comes off the Norwich man's hand...

    Norwich 1-1 Southampton

Through goes Adam Armstrong and Vladan Kovacevic has to come out and make a save.

That Ryan Manning goal has completely switched the atmosphere around the ground and on the pitch as well.

Suddenly Saints are on the front foot.

  14. goal

GOAL: Stoke 2-0 Swanseapublished at 13:48 GMT 13 December 2025

    Sorba Thomas (59 mins)

    That could be that.

Stoke do well to win back the ball in the visitors' half and the lively Bae Jun-ho finds space down the right to whip a low cross across the box.

Sorba Thomas takes it first time at the back stick and drives a shot back across the goal into the bottom right corner.

    His eighth of the season.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:47 GMT 13 December 2025

    Stoke 1-0 Swansea

Doubkle change for the visitors as Marko Stamenic, on a yellow card, comes off for Josh Key.

And Ronald makes way for Zeidane Inoussa on the right.

    Norwich 1-1 Southampton

Sometimes those kind of shots can just catch the keeper of guard and it has this time.

We're right back in the game now.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:46 GMT 13 December 2025

    Oxford 1-2 Preston

Now it's Preston who are on the ropes as Oxford are dominating since that Brian De Keersmaecker goal.

Will Vaulks strikes from the edge of the box and forces Preston keeper Daniel Iversen into diving outstretched save.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:45 GMT 13 December 2025

    Stoke 1-0 Swansea

A second Swansea yellow card in quick succession as Goncalo Franco goes into the book for a spot of afters.

Prior to that the visitors create danger as Marko Stamenic drills a low cross beyond the keeper, but no-one can turn the ball home.

  19. goal

GOAL: Norwich 1-1 Southamptonpublished at 13:45 GMT 13 December 2025

    Ryan Manning (57 mins)

    There's the Southampton response!

Ryan Manning has had enough and just lashes a shot from distance into the bottom corner.

Norwich goalkeeper Vladan Kovacevic is slow to get down - might he have done better?

  20. Postpublished at 13:44 GMT 13 December 2025

    Norwich 1-0 Southampton

Norwich goalkeeper Vladan Kovacevic has not touched the ball yet in this second period and we are 10 minutes in.

The Canaries are a little over 30 minutes from making it back-to-back home wins for the first time since January.

What have Southampton got in terms of a response?
