    And Sporting are back level!

Bodo/Glimt is unravelling and the Portuguese side will now feel they can wrap up a win in regulation time here.

Luis Suarez sends Bodo goalkeeper Nikita Haikin the wrong way from the penalty spot after referee Sandro Scharer points to the spot after being sent to the pitchside monitor to have a look at a handball shout on defender Fredrik Bjorkan.

Have Manchester City ever been good enough to claim the top prize this season?

A strong performance against Real Madrid, irrespective of the aggregate scoreline, and perhaps a victory in the Carabao Cup final against Arsenal, may just add some glimmer of hope into the eyes of supporters.

But a white flag is beginning to rise in the top flight from those at the Etihad.

    Sporting 2-0 Bodo/Glimt (2-3 agg)

Sporting famously overturned a three-goal first-leg deficit in Europe when they defeated Manchester United 5-0 to win the 1963-64 Cup Winners’ Cup quarter-finals 6-4 on aggregate.

They are definitely knocking on the doors here as Bodo/Glimt seem to have no response to the home side's dominance.

The noise inside Estadio Jose Alvalade is on the rise as the home supporters sense the comeback is on.

Kai Havertz late penalty against Bayer Leverkusen last week means that Arsenal come into this match level in the tie.

The Emirates Stadium was bouncing after 16-year-old Max Dowman's late goal against Everton that secured an important three points in the title race.

It's an important week for Arsenal with the Carabao Cup on Sunday and a win against Leverkusen would keep the possibility of Arsenal winning a quadruple alive.

Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior has been troubled by leaks across both legs of the Champions League tie against Paris St‑Germain.

Before the first leg, the 41‑year‑old saw his entire starting XI published in the French media. Today, his decision to leave out Wesley Fofana and start Jorrel Hato was also revealed ahead of time.

Speaking yesterday, Rosenior said: “These things happen. It’s disappointing but I’m sure it won’t happen again.” However, that prediction was proven wrong just a few hours later.

    Sporting 1-0 Bodo/Glimt (1-3 agg)

It's been a lively start to the second half with Bodo/Glimt looking much more settled after the break.

Patrick Berg strikes a free-kick straight into the hands of Sporting goalkeeper Rui Silva and moments later, Geny Catamo hits the side-netting at the opposite end.

Sporting captain Morten Hjulmand then sees a deflected effort go wide - that could have easily ended up in the back of the net.

The hosts will feel the pressure building if the score remains the same for much longer.

Roma 3-0 Barcelona (quarter-final second leg, 10 April 2018, 4-4 on agg, Roma win on away goals)

    Champions League

"Roma have risen from their ruins."

That iconic line from commentator Peter Drury summed up an incredible night as Roma clinched a memorable comeback to send Barcelona packing in the quarter-finals.

Own goals from Daniele de Rossi and Kostas Manolas helped Barca record a 4-1 win in the first leg at the Nou Camp.

Edin Dzeko's late goal in Spain gave Roma something to build from and the forward struck early in the return leg to further strengthen their belief.

De Rossi atoned for his own goal with a second-half strike and, with just eight minutes to go, Manolas headed home a corner to end Roma's 34-year wait for a place in the semi-finals of Europe's leading competition.
