    Leyton Orient 2-2 Burton Albion

    Job done for Richie Wellens, a point good enough to guarantee survival with Exeter's defeat.

    Will Forrester opened the scoring at Brisbane Road, only for Fabio Tavares to draw the visitors level.

    Dom Ballard restored the home side's advantage, before Alex Hartridge secured a point for Burton, who end the season six unbeaten.

    A point apiece enough for Rovers to preserve their league status, even if they did only win two of their final 22 games this campaign.

    Dave Artell's side head into the play-offs off the back of one defeat in their final seven games.

    Justin Amaluzor opened the scoring for the visitors, but that was cancelled out by Nathan Smith after the break.

    Harrogate 1-2 Barnet

    Despair in Yorkshire, as Town return to the National League.

    Callum Stead and Phillip Chinedu struck the decisive blows for the Bees, who were pegged back by Bryn Morris' equaliser from the penalty spot for Harrogate.

    A draw was enough for much of the day for Town, but goals from Newport in Cumbria coupled with Barnet re-taking the lead means its fifth tier football for Simon Weaver's side.

    Stockport finally get the job done and confirm a play-off place in League One on the final day.

    Adama Sidibeh gave them a lead at the break only for Adam Phillips to head a leveller for Barnsley.

    Oliver Norwood's second-half penalty and a late Benony Andresson goal proved to be decisive for County.

    Northampton 2-3 Plymouth

    What a game at Sixfields, but it looks like Plymouth miss out on the League One play-offs.

    Northampton stunned the Pilgrims going 2-0 up after 18 minutes, but goals from Lorent Tolaj and Malachi Boateng levelled things up before half-time.

    With Northampton going down to 10-men after Conor McCarthy's late tackle on Brendan Wiredu, Plymouth completed the comeback through Wiredu.

    Northampton finish the season with 11 straight defeats at the foot of the League Two table.

    Bolton 2-3 Luton

    An entertaining way to finish the regular season and a crazy end but Luton miss out on the play-offs despite beating Bolton who were already guaranteed a top-six finish.

    Jordan Clark's penalty put the Hatters ahead with Emilio Lawrence and Kasey Palmer hitting the woodwork.

    Goals from Jordi Osei-Tutu and Ibrahim Cissoko turned it around for the home side before Hakeem Odoffin headed an equaliser for the visitors.

    Shayden Morris got the winner for Luton who even saw a late Nahki Wells penalty saved.

    Salford give it their all but can't find the net to earn themselves automatic promotion.

    Twice the Ammies rattled the crossbar, while Adebola Oluwo sent a clear cut chance wide after being denied an obvious penalty.

    It's a tough one for Salford, who will now prepare for the play-offs but their goalless encounter keeps Crawley in League Two by the skin of their teeth.

    It's mayhem on the pitch. That draw was huge for the hosts.

    Barrow 1-2 Newport

    Barrow's defeat also confirms Newport's safety in the fourth tier.

    The hosts went ahead early through Charlie McCann and dominated the first half, but the game changed after the break when County keeper Jordan Wright saved Josh Gordon's spot-kick.

    From there, the Exiles responded, and goals from Tom Davies and a late winner from Bobby Kamwa were enough to seal the three points and in the process, survival.

    Just as I said they didn't look like scoring, the ball is pinballing around the box to get hearts in mouths but the Crewe keeper eventually collects it in the air to calm the pressure.

    Josh Magennis got a late reply but Exeter head down to League Two with barely a whimper.

    Matt Taylor won just one of his 13 games on his return to a club he had previously led to promotion.
