  1. Van Veen-Littler spat 'not a big deal'published at 21:51 BST 2 April

I don't think either player was too far into the wrong. The end of a match can get quite heated.

Gian handled himself more appropriately in a lot of ways. Luke could have handled it slightly better.

I wouldn't say it is a big deal. I think both players will be over it already.

  2. Crucial holdpublished at 21:51 BST 2 April

    Van Veen 1-0 Rock

Gian van Veen holds his throw in the opener under all kinds of pressure from Josh Rock who has come out of the traps scoring well.

    Van Veen v Rock

Gian van Veen talking to Sky Sports: "It feels amazing to finally win another game seeing as I haven't won since week four. The last few weeks haven't been phenomenal and I was in lots of pain. I am back winning games and hopefully the quarter-final isn't the last."

Loving the needle between Littler and Van Veen. Modern era Taylor v van Barneveld stuff! A few decades of that to follow. Littler doesn’t like it if things don’t go his way in every match.

Luke Littler was happy that Gian van Veen went inside the 15 and he kind of did the Simon Whitlock 'well done' and you shouldn't do that.

As he did it Gian turned round and he kind of went 'why did you do that?'.

You've got to say that Gian handled it better because Luke Littler fluffed his lines and went too aggressive at the double seven. Gian held it together really well.

  6. Van Veen 'fuming' with 'out of order' Littlerpublished at 21:45 BST 2 April

Gian van Veen talking to Sky Sports about the incident with Luke Littler during his quarter-final victory: "From my perspective, I missed the double 15 and I looked around, and I was fuming with myself that I missed, and I looked around and he was celebrating that I missed. That was out of order. I was fuming about that.

"He probably saw it and then he missed three darts at double seven and then he looked at me like I was the problem and I was like I don't know what I've done wrong because you're celebrating me missing. I thought that was out of order, he missed and then I took it out and he's probably fuming.

"That is darts and that is my perspective, his perspective is probably different, but that is it.

"I love Luke to bits, he's a fantastic player and guy for the sport and to see all the attention he's brought to it is phenomenal but this is also part of it as well and today was my day."

Josh Rock may have found his feet after last week. He looked so much more likely.

He was throwing the darts harder and they were going in so much direct. It bodes well for him.

It doesn't get much better than that from Gerwyn Price.

Stunning performance from the Welshman, averaging 112.91 and 66.67% on the outer ring.

A couple more ton-plus finishes as well.

That is world class from Gerwyn Price. He has powered into the final.

Stephen Bunting averages near 107 and he's got nowhere near him.

  10. Price wins!published at 21:37 BST 2 April

    Bunting 2-6 Price

Clinical, again, from Gerwyn Price as he takes out 112 to book his spot in the final.

112, by the way, as Price's average in that match (112.91 to be precise) and he hit four 180s and six of his nine doubles.

He's been outstanding for some time now but he's lost in the last four Premier League nights to Luke Littler - well, there's no Littler left in tonight so he'll be tough to stop in the final.

  11. Price on the brinkpublished at 21:36 BST 2 April

    Bunting 2-5 Price

Stephen Bunting just cracks at the wrong time with a flurry of missed doubles costing him the leg, and possibly the match, as Gerwyn Price moves one leg away from the final.

Forget the averages, this performance from Gerwyn Price has been the best of any player I've seen this year. He's looked so smooth.

We love 170s and amazing shots but the relentless scoring and doubling is just brilliant.

Gerwyn Price has reeled in the Big Fish and now he's back to his bicep bulging "gwaaan" shout after moving two legs ahead with some more excellent arrows.

Wow this is a huge opportunity for all 4 remaining players to claim the night now. I really don’t know what happened with Van Veen and Littler - I didn’t see what Gian did wrong.

This game is difficult, let me tell you, but they are making it look so easy.

We said that Gerwyn Price's game is right up there when he finds it and he is finding it tonight. He is almost unplayable tonight.

  17. Another break!published at 21:31 BST 2 April

    Bunting 2-3 Price

That's three breaks of throw on the spin now as Gerwyn Price takes out an 11-darter to go back in front.

  18. Postpublished at 21:30 BST 2 April

    Bunting 2-2 Price

    Sam Drury
    BBC Sport at AO Arena

Gerwyn Price has hit nine-darters on his past two Premier League appearances in Manchester.

Given the number of big finishes we've seen from him already, I'm not ruling out a third before the night is through.

  19. Bunting breaks backpublished at 21:30 BST 2 April

    Bunting 2-2 Price

This is top quality stuff now as Stephen Bunting answers the 170 with a 112 finish for a break of throw of his own to level the match.

We're seeing a lot of these, aren't we? And we love it!

Gerwyn Price is enjoying himself and that's good to see. For too long he was dragging himself down and making himself sad and nobody wants to see that.
