  1. Rock in chargepublished at 20:51 BST 2 April

    Clayton 0-3 Rock

Jonny Clayton misses the bull for the second time in the match to allow Josh Rock to take out 64 to go 3-0 ahead.

Clayton has only had two darts for a leg so far, and they've both been at the centre of the board - that's a tough gig.

Josh Rock has way more confidence so far this evening.

This is the best he's played in the Premier League.

And there's more of the real Josh Rock! He follows a 126 outshot on his own throw with a superb 150 checkout to break the Jonny Clayton throw.

Who is this guy? Because he looks nothing like the Josh Rock we've seen so far this season in the Premier League.

It is all about reaching the O2 and finals night - it doesn't matter if you're first or fourth. None of these lot care.

  5. Great start for Rockpublished at 20:48 BST 2 April

    Clayton 0-1 Rock

Brilliant from Josh Rock as he takes out 126 to win the opening leg of the match - that's more like the Josh Rock you'll know if you watch more darts than just the Premier League.

He's just not managed to translate it to this high-pressure arena league as yet, it'll come though.

Josh Rock needed to get a match win and he'll take winning with an average of 80. It should help him to relax and play and perform better.

It is going to be tough for him against Jonny Clayton. He won't want to lose twice against the bottom-placed player. He'll be alert and ready to go.

Jonny Clayton talking to Sky Sports: "I didn't take my chances last week. You have to take your chances in his game. You try and forget about it. I need to sort that this week."

Josh Rock talking to Sky Sports: "It is going to be tough. He'll be up for it after last week. I've got the monkey off my back now so I can ease myself through it. I've come here with a bigger smile on my face so I'm happy."

  9. Rock repeat or revenge for Clayton?published at 20:41 BST 2 April

Josh Rock finally got his first win of the season last week, and guess who that was against? Yep of course it was Jonny Clayton.

The Welshman now gets the chance for instant revenge after one of his worst displays of the season last week in Berlin, as before that he was flying.

The Ferrett is still the only other player to win multiple nights apart from Luke Littler - so you have to think he can reverse that form with Rock this week.

What a match, what a final leg... and what on earth happened between Gian van Veen and Luke Littler there?

The world champion took exception to something after Van Veen missed that double 15, proceeded to miss his own match dart and there was then the briefest of handshakes before Littler marched off.

There's a shrug of the shoulders from Van Veen but that all got a bit fesity.

Luke Littler was cleary unhappy with something there - stemming from Gian van Veen missing a double and turning to seemingly stare at the crowd, or was it Littler?

Either way it really wound the world champion up. He waved to the crowd to create some noise as he stepped up to win the match, and it was a big surprise when he too then fluffed his lines.

We'll hopefully get the full story on that later, but we love a big of argy bargy at the darts don't we?

There were a lot of fireworks there and they are still continuing.

What a great match from Gian van Veen.

Wow it's all happening! Both men miss match darts but that's only half the story as Luke Littler is unhappy with Gian van Veen about something, waving his arms at him behind his back after the Dutchman missed his chance.

Littler then misses his big chance at a double and does a pretend cry in Van Veen's direction as his opponent holds his nerve to clinch the win.

  14. Final leg shootoutpublished at 20:33 BST 2 April

    Van Veen 5-5 Littler

Gian van Veen has just lost his scoring and Luke Littler very much hasn't - so he has plenty of time to hit his double and level the match.

And Littler has the throw in the decider.

It's not quite there for Luke Littler tonight. He's still averaging 97 but that makes him vulnerable.

  16. Van Veen misses match dartpublished at 20:31 BST 2 April

    Van Veen 5-4 Littler

Luke Littler misses tops leaving Gian van Veen with 108 for the match, but when he misses double eight Littler strolls back in to hit tops first time of asking to get back to within one.

    One match dart gone.

    This match has delivered.

I was worried about what Gian van Veen would be able to deliver but he's back playing darts.

  18. Big holdpublished at 20:30 BST 2 April

    Van Veen 5-3 Littler

Luke Littler is piling on the pressure but just misses double 11 for a 142 checkout and Gian van Veen respondeds by hitting double eight to survive and hold his throw.

He's now just one leg away from a huge win.

There was a bit of unrest among the Luke Littler fans when Gian van Veen went 4-1 up but they're a whole lot happier now.

The Dutchman was the width of a wire from 5-1, now he's under real pressure to hold throw.
