That result means Luke Humphries ends another week sitting outside the play-off places.

He is three points off Michael van Gerwen in fourth.

    Result: Littler 6-5 Humphries

A game of real quality - and you'd expect nothing less when these two meet.

Luke Littler's average of 100.85 was marginally lower than Luke Humphries' 103.

Humphries was also exceptional on the doubles with a checkout percentage of 71.43% compared to Littler's 46.15% - which is still pretty good.

It was the relentlessness of Littler's finishing in the middle of that match that proved decisive as he reeled off four legs on the spin.

Another brilliant match between these two but Luke Littler comes out on top again!

Superb leg from the world champion, his switching to treble 19 proving so valuable on a number of occasions.

It comes down to the double 10, Littler hits it and has a chance for a fourth nightly win.

    Well, well, well.

    Littler 5-3 Humphries

Luke Humphries stops the rot and extends the match.

He remains perfect on the outer ring, Luke Littler just hasn't given him the chances most of the time.

Luke Humphries has been completely overrun for the past four legs and I did not see that happening.

  14. Littler on brink of the finalpublished at 20:22 BST 16 April

Another 180 for Luke Littler and he is closing in on the final.

    Littler 4-2 Humphries

Luke Humphries is starting to look like he's regained some momentum but it doesn't matter because Luke Littler is on the charge.

A 180 to start and he races on to break by hitting double top.

The interesting dynamic for me here is that Luke Humphries has come right off the boil. That didn't look like it was coming.

    Littler 3-2 Humphries

    Luke Littler is enjoying himself.

From saying he wouldn't react to the crowd before the start of the night, he's going for the opposite approach now.

He's playing up to it and the whole thing seems to have knocked Luke Humphries off his stride.

Double five puts Littler back in front.

He said before the Gerwyn Price game that he wouldn't react but he has there and they don't like it.

I think he's had enough of not reacting. He's strutting now and he's really giving it now.

When he has this swagger he's hard to deal with.

  19. Littler breaks backpublished at 20:18 BST 16 April

    Littler 2-2 Humphries

'Calm down' is the signal from Luke Littler after hitting tops to break back - and the crowd aren't happy.

Whistles for him and then cheers as he fails to find a treble on his first visit of the next leg.

  20. Humphries takes out 164published at 20:16 BST 16 April

    Littler 1-2 Humphries

    Magnificent from Luke Humphries.

He's had his troubles finishing this year but not here - he goes treble 19, treble 19, bullseye to take out 164.

A break of throw for the defending champion.
