    And we're all square!

Three 140s to start the leg against the throw from Jonny Clayton and with Gerwyn Price lagging behind, he gets a second go at double 13.

He takes it and we're back on throw.

  2. Clayton takes out 116!published at 16:45 GMT 8 March

    Clayton 6-7 Price

It's Gerwyn Price's turn to miss a big break opportunity!

Needing 54, he misses tops then double 10 for an 8-5 lead... and Jonny Clayton then takes out 116 to pull back to within one.

    Superb from the Ferret.

    Clayton 5-7 Price

Massive let off for Gerwyn Price as Jonny Clayton misses darts at tops and double 10 to level it up.

The Ferret couldn't take out 56, the Ice Man does it in two darts.

    That one-break lead remains.

    Clayton 5-6 Price

Nearly a brilliant 160 out for Gerwyn Price but he is just the wrong side of the wire on the double 20.

It means Jonny Clayton, who hit a 180 early in the leg, gets away with slightly rogue route on his previous 123 checkout and is back to hit double eight to hold.

Jonny Clayton actually has the better average at this stage, albeit only just, 93.06 to Gerwyn Price's 92.22.

The Ferret has also been far more clinical on the outer ring, his checkout percentage is 50% with Price's down at 31.58% - the Ice Man has made a habit of needing two or three to hit his double after establishing a sizeable lead in the leg.

Listen to that never-ending scream from Gerwyn Price.

He's letting Jonny Clayton know he will have to come from two legs down to be the surviving Welsh hopeful left here in Minehead.

Gerwyn Price's finishing has not been what it was early in the match... but he's not being punished for it just yet.

Three more missed doubles but the fourth finds double 10 and he leads Jonny Clayton by two legs in this all-Welsh quarter-final.

An almighty scream followed that dart finding its mark, the loudest so far - and that is no small feat.

    Clayton 4-5 Price

Far from a vintage leg from either player but Jonny Clayton's 16th dart on throw finds the bed of double 20 to get back to within a leg.

One more leg before the next mini-break. Still just one break of throw in it.

The fear is when you've been broken, is being broken again.

This is a leg that Jonny Clayton can not afford to lose.

    Clayton 3-5 Price

A break chance for Jonny Clayton... but he can't hit the bullseye for a 121.

Gerwyn Price, having missed three darts for the leg already, comes back and doesn't make the same mistake with the fourth.

The Ice Man keeps himself two legs in front.

    Clayton 3-4 Price

That's more like the Jonny Clayton we've seen in recent weeks.

He follows up a 177 with a 180 to take complete control of the leg and finishes it off by hitting tops.

    Clayton 2-4 Price

Another roar from Gerwyn Price after hitting double 18 at the third time of asking.

Jonny Clayton had had a dart at the bull for a 124 checkout.

Earlier, Luke Littler continued the defence of his title with a 10-6 win over Danny Noppert. Here's what some of you had to say about it...

Luke: Littler is so cool and calm. When he goes down a leg or two, he just gets on with it. Absolutely world class and he will dominate the sport for years.

Nigel: Well done Luke, now finish the job.

He knows he's been second best, Clayton, but he'll be satisfied going in at the break only one leg down.

    Better from Jonny Clayton.

A couple of 140s and then a clinical finish, hitting double 16 at the first time of asking to close the gap to a solitary leg at the first mini-break.

Gerwyn Price celebratesImage source, Kieran Cleeves/PDC

Huge shout from Gerwyn Price as he hits double 12 to re-establish a two-leg lead.

He's not been at his very best yet but he's been far closer to it than Jonny Clayton so far.

  17. Postpublished at 16:19 GMT 8 March

    Clayton 1-2 Price

Jonny Clayton is on the board after hitting double nine.

He was very nearly 3-0 down, though, as Gerwyn Price had one at tops for a 109 checkout.

He couldn't get it this time, though, and the Ferret is off the mark.

Jonny Clayton is already under pressure, you do not want to go 3-0 down.

It may seem like a long enough format but it can soon get away from you.

    Gerwyn Price holds.

Not quite as comfortably as it looked like being as he raced clear.

A couple of missed doubles up the pressure slightly but he hits double 10 before Jonny Clayton has a shot at a double.
