This is the all-Welsh match-up the Premier League crowd in Cardiff wanted to see in the final on Thursday. It wasn't to be then but it should still be a cracker here.

Gerwyn Price looked down and out in his sixth-round match with Ireland's Keane Barry last night.

The Welshman was 9-4 down but won six legs on the spin to progress to the quarter-finals.

Price will take on good friend Jonny Clayton, who tops the Premier League table at the moment, and has been in fantastic form.

After a slow start in the Premier League, Luke Littler found form in Cardiff on Thursday, claiming his first nightly win of 2026.

Now he's into the semi-finals at Minehead after averaging 104.47 against Danny Noppert. He was 45.45% on the outer ring with a highest checkout of 161.

Littler has been playing OK from the Premier League but if the Nuke is starting to deliver his best stuff on a regular basis again then it's going to be an uphill battle for the rest of the field...

Luke Littler gets the job done!

A slightly scruffy leg allows Danny Noppert two darts to break and extend the match but he can't take them and Littler isn't going to give him any more.

An 81 checkout to seal the win on double 11.

That's three of last year's semi-finalists back in the last four in 2026. It's up to Jonny Clayton to try to make it a full house.

  6. Littler breaks, will throw for the matchpublished at 16:03 GMT 8 March

    Littler 9-6 Noppert

Seven perfect darts... but the eighth goes astray for Luke Littler and he has to settle for an 11-darter.

He frustrated but it's top stuff from the teenager. He's now one leg away from the semi-finals...

  7. Noppert breakspublished at 16:02 GMT 8 March

    Littler 8-6 Noppert

A glimmer of hope for Danny Noppert after Luke Littler proves he is human.

Noppert had missed double 12 for a 98 checkout, leaving Littler with what seemed a formality, taking out 40.

But three misses at tops give Noppert another chance and he takes it.

That's why he's world number one and world champion.

He's just going through the gears, that's what Littler can do.

  9. Littler takes out 161!published at 15:59 GMT 8 March

    Littler 8-5 Noppert

    Stunning from Luke Littler!

Just after Danny Noppert misses the bullseye for a 130 checkout, the world champion shows him how it's done.

A brilliant 161 out, finishing on the bull, to secure the double break.

Break consolidated and, with three legs on the spin, Luke Littler is quickly accelerating towards the finish line.

A solid hold and his average is now creeping up towards 105. If it stays there, I can't see Danny Noppert stopping him.

    Littler 6-5 Noppert

Blistering start to this mini session from Luke Littler!

He breaks after starting the leg with a 180 to quickly take control. Double top gets the job done and Danny Noppert is right up against it now.

  12. Postpublished at 15:52 GMT 8 March

    Littler 5-5 Noppert

Luke Littler's average has nudged up to 103.57 while Danny Noppert is pushing three figures as well now, he's at 99.51.

A 76 out from Littler is highest we've seen so far but both men have come close to some biggies so I'd expect that to change before this match is done.

It's still right in the balance at the moment.

  13. All square againpublished at 15:49 GMT 8 March

    Littler 5-5 Noppert

Just when Danny Noppert thinks he has a sniff of a break, getting down to a finish first, Luke Littler hits a 180 to leave 30.

Noppert has to take out 167 then... he can't and Littler splits the 30, going 10, double 10 to level it at the break.

  14. Postpublished at 15:48 GMT 8 March

    Littler 4-5 Noppert

Both players miss darts for a ton-plus finish so Danny Noppert is able to come back and hit tops.

He's back in front in what has been a high-quality contest so far.

It's Luke Littler's turn for a straightforward hold.

Brilliant stuff from the Nuke - 141, 180, 140 before hitting tops to complete the 10-darter.

A comfortable hold for the Dutchman to edge ahead again.

  17. Postpublished at 15:43 GMT 8 March

    Littler 3-3 Noppert

    All square!

Danny Noppert puts the pressure on with the first 180 of the match but Luke Littler doesn't care a jot.

Needing 64, he ends up with just one dart at double but that's all he needs. Double 20 hit and Littler has won three legs on the spin.

    Littler 2-3 Noppert

Five legs in and Luke Littler is averaging 102.86 with Danny Noppert on 97.38.

No 180s yet which is a bit of a surprise with these two but I'm sure that'll change before too long.

Littler's been pretty useful in quarter-finals, he's only lost two.

He's reached 15 semi-finals and not lost one.

You feel if there is a chance to beat Littler it's in the earlier stages.

  20. Littler breaks backpublished at 15:37 GMT 8 March

    Littler 2-3 Noppert

Just like that, we're back on throw.

Luke Littler is showing signs that he's starting to warm up with scores of 140 and 125 early in the leg.

Then when Danny Noppert isn't able to take out 120, Littler needs just one dart at tops to break back.
