  1. 50 runs

50 for Carterpublished at 15.4 overs

    Sco 104-5

Half-century for Darcey Carter. A good personal milestone and she's admirably played through pain, but she looks every part of a player who knows this could well end up a missed opportunity for her side.

Carter has slowed down dramatically here - she needs to accelerate.

  3. Sco 100-5published at 15 overs

A straight delivery can only be hacked into the off side by Darcey Carter for a single as she fails to capitalise on the free-hit.

Two runs bring up the 100 for Scotland but just six off that over.

I don't think I've ever seen Qiana Joseph bowl! West Indies have used seven bowlers today - it's a tactic they have used a lot, even in the pre-tournament warm-up games.

  5. Sco 95-5published at 14 overs

Qiana Joseph is introduced to the attack for the first time. She begins with a no-ball. You feel this is the bowler who Scotland will need to target.

JMc: Carter has got to start smacking it because all these singles are not helping. She's better off going out in a blaze of glory.

  7. Postpublished at 21:24 BST 18 June

Scotland need 59 from 36 balls with five wickets in hand. Not impossible.

The run-rate isn't out of control for Scotland yet but this partnership needs to build and they need to score faster.

  9. Sco 95-5published at 14 overs

A four down the ground from Lister rubs salt into the wounds after that dropped catch. Always happens, doesn't it?

  10. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 13.4 overs

    Sco 91-5

Darcey Carter is dropped - a simple effort at mid-on and it's shelled. A tired shot but more sloppy fielding.

  11. Sco 87-5published at 13 overs

Darcey Carter is moving gingerly between the wickets and is struggling to get any power behind her shots.

Afy Fletcher finishes a fine spell of 2-16 from her four overs. West Indies are in the driving seat.

Jarleth Eaton: This isn’t done yet. If you’ve watched Ailsa Lister in the Blast and One-Day Cup for Lancashire, she can get runs very quickly. Both her and Carter have got to bat deep mind!

  13. Sco 83-5published at 12 overs

A much-needed boundary. New batter Ailsa Lister whips it into the leg side for four.

    Scotland need 71 from 48.

Game over? Or can Scotland still do this?

It looks for a second like Chinelle Henry was doing a celeb catch. I think she's had a shoulder problem and has been hampered at stages in this game.

    Too easy for West Indies.

Another mistimed drive from a Scottish batter as Priyanaz Chatterji skies it up to mid-off and Chinelle Henry takes the most simple of grabs.

Henry looks a bit uncomfortable after taking it though as she clutches her shoulder.

I love the way this match is set up. I think Scotland are still very much in it.

Carter can't run so she should probably just swing now - only getting singles when it should be a two is probably just as bad as getting out at this stage.

  19. Sco 71-4published at 10 overs

A tight single almost yields a run out as Darcey Carter - who still looks like she's struggling with her ankle - flicks it down to fine-leg and Priyanaz Chatterji just about grounds her bat for a quick single.

Scotland are just about in this but need to start dealing in boundaries.

Once the run-rate gets to 8.5-9 an over, it becomes a big ask.
