Not in a museum, but will be tuning in after tea from the Novum theatre, Brussels, prior to playing The Planets this evening.

    John, Brussels

Following along during the birth of our first child. Wickets = oxytocin = an easier labour, so come on England.

    James, Somerset

Ash (13.36) - my son and 3 mates hold WR for marathon time for team of 4 (dressed as a caterpillar) - 3hr 16m in Frankfurt this year!

  2. NZ 351-7published at 83 overs

New batter Kyle Jamieson denies Matthew Fisher a wicket maiden, taking two past point off the seamer's final delivery.

That's 350 up for New Zealand and takes the lead past 450.

Well bowled by Fisher, he stuck to his guns. Well done. After a couple of long days as a bowler you want a bit of a reward.

  4. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 82.3 overs

    Mitchell b Fisher 68 (NZ 349-7)

    Stumps exposed... and broken.

Daryl Mitchell, looking to accelerate, drops to a knee as he tries to scoop Matthew Fisher's delivery.

He doesn't get any bat on it and the bails go flying.

And with that, England will take the new ball.

  5. NZ 349-6published at 82 overs

    Lead by 449

Four singles off Jacob Bethell's over, as New Zealand move their lead to the verge of 450.

In the British Museum for one of THE cricketing moments - Jack Leach’s 1* at Headingley 2019. Huddled around a phone watching the action unfold as my partner, usually an occasional cricket fan, became such a nervous wreck she had to check live text updates before watching each over.

    Andrew, Colchester

My memory of the Stokes 258 in South Africa was refreshing the feed in between rooms of the Neues Museum in Berlin.

    Ed, Basingstoke

I was secretly listening to the cricket at the Bovey Tracey House of Marbles last year.

Time to get back out there.

Daryl Mitchell resumes on 66, Nathan Smith on 30.

The latter will face Jacob Bethell, who has figures of 1-45 from 10 overs, still bowling with the old ball.

At Goodwood aerodrome. My uncle's Spitfire flight was cancelled.

A guy in my running club (shoutout Alex at Kent AC) has the Guinness World Record for fastest marathon dressed as a pencil and his costume is now in the Keswick Pencil Museum. I can’t remember the time, but he certainly wasn’t in the lead (badum tsss).

Ash, London (en route to Twickenham)

Followed Stuart Broad’s 8-15 via BBC live text while visiting the Science Museum with my French exchange, aged 16. François just didn’t understand!

Yesterday Tim and I were discussing another museum - The Museum of Broken Relationships in Zagreb.

It houses mementos from relationships that have been torn asunder, accompanied by some text from the donor explaining the item's significance - some funny, some tragic (to borrow from Partridge again).

I imagine if this New Zealand innings goes on much longer, a few readers' relationship with the England cricket team might end up in there.

I see what you're doing here, but as long as you've got your big plate with you I'll allow it.

Dipping back into this match for a moment, New Zealand scored 93 runs over 25 overs in the morning session, losing three wickets.

Here are a couple of them.

Now I'm just intrigued as to whether Stuart from Warrington had a particularly bad experience at Southport Lawnmower Museum - sounds like mere mention of it takes him to a bad place.

I don't especially mind if it's not the live from this Test - if you experienced a famous cricketing moment in any museum then I'm interested.

I'll even expand the criteria to art galleries, historic naval yards, owl sanctuaries.

However I will not, repeat not, accept village fetes.

If anyone is tuning into our live from this institution, or any other niche museum, please let me know.

    Hello WinViz. How are you?

Anyway, here's Mike Peter to talk you through the lunch break and into the afternoon session.

  16. New Zealand 345-6 at lunchpublished at 81 overs

Nathan Smith and Daryl Mitchell safely negotiate the remainder of Matthew Fisher's over to reach lunch with their wickets in tact.

New Zealand lead by 445 runs.

Much for Joe Root to ponder over his luncheon.

  17. NZ 344-6published at 80.4 overs

Matthew Fisher drops it short to Nathan Smith who hooks it down behind square for four.

  18. NZ 340-6published at 80 overs

Time for one more over before lunch.

The new ball is due, but England continue with the old one.

Nathan Smith then slog sweeps Jacob Bethell for four next ball.
