    Adil Rashid tosses one up and Mitchell Santner sweeps him for four. Sam Curran gives chase all the way to the fence to no avail, much to Kane Williamson's amusement in the dug out.

    Next ball Santner is down on one knee and strikes an almighty six on to the roof of the Sky Stadium - aka the Cake Tin - in Wellington.

    A monster hit.

    Final ball of the over and Mitchell attempts to reverse sweep but cannot make contact and it hits him on the pad. Jos Buttler appeals but nothing doing.

    EagleEyeStorm: A big issue is the number of dot balls when England bat. The emphasis put on boundary hitting seems to have the players forgetting the value of rotating the strike.

    Sam Curran attempts to unsettle Michael Bracewell with a short ball, but the Kiwi left-hander calmly pulls it for four.

    A nip-backer from Curran next ball hits Bracewell on the pad and there's an appeal. Harry Brook is not interested in a review, though, indicating he thought height was an issue.
