Definitely an improved England side but Australia still a class above. Jones has been disappointing both with the bat and behind the wicket, and although Sciver-Brunt is still a legend with the bat I do think Dean is a more creative captain.

Halfway through and Australia are making light work of this chase.

It has been an unsual bowling performance from Lauren Bell. She is usually so accurate in the way she goes about it.

England need a huge intervention. They need someone to take wickets and they have turned to Lauren Bell.

That is a gamble. She has 1-27 from her two overs so far.

Australia have played with freedom to try and manipulate the field and they have the freedom to back themselves to go over mid-off if the field is up.

They have taken on the powerplay and not been scared of getting out. We didn't see that from England, it was all a bit tentative at the start.

  19. Aus 72-1published at 7 overs

    Target 151

29 balls for the 50 partnership between Mooney and Litchfield, brought up by a rather lucky edge that races past the keeper for four.

  20. Aus 64-1published at 6.1 overs

Right then, what have England got? Freya Kemp is into the attack.

We've spoken so much about their performances under pressure. They did it exceptionally against South Africa in the semi.

The stakes are as high as ever now and they need to produce something special - and quickly.
