  1. Sco 125-5published at 12:41 GMT 7 February

    Mark Watt the new batter.

Scotland's momentum stymied by the loss of Tom Bruce and Richie Berrington in the space of seven balls.

  2. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.3 overs

    Bruce lbw b Motie 35 (Sco 122-5)

    Three reds.

Tom Bruce was praying for a miracle there.

Ball-tracking technology shows it would have hit the top of middle.

  3. Scotland reviewpublished at 14.3 overs

Tom Bruce goes for the slog sweep but is struck high on the back leg by Gudakesh Motie.

This looks plumb. Given on field.

Reviewed more in hope than expectation.

  4. Scot 119-4published at 14 overs

Scotland wicketkeeper Matthew Cross is the new batter.

He works Jason Holder to mid-wicket for a couple.

There's more than a chance of a run out for West Indies but there's a bit of a lapse in concentration from Shai Hope who fails to whip the bails off with one eye on a throw to the non-striker's end.

Cross dives to make his ground.

A very timely wicket for the West Indies, the game was just running away from them with the way Richie Berrington and Tom Bruce's partnership had built very nicely.

Good execution from Jason Holder, his 100th wicket and a great servant for West Indies cricket.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.2 overs

    Berrington c Joseph b Holder 42 (Sco 115-4)

The experienced Jason Holder is back and he bags the key wicket of Scotland captain Richie Berrington.

It's a rather short, wide and non-threatening delivery from Holder but perhaps deliberate given he had seen Berrington backing away in previous overs?

Either way, Berrington knows he has to chase it and ends up slapping it to the grateful hands of Shamar Joseph who takes the catch at deep point.

  8. Sco 114-3published at 13 overs

Earlier in the over from Gudakesh Motie, Tom Bruce was dropped in the covers after slapping one. Will West Indies pay the price for that?

  9. 6 runs

    Sco 111-3published at 11.4 overs

Tom Bruce picks up the length of one dropped slightly short by Gudakesh Motie and hammers it over the mid-wicket boundary for six.

Some momentum building here for the Scots.

The run-rate still at around 10 an over.

Tom Bruce and Richie Berrington are really coming together now. This partnership has given Scotland fans a bit of hope.

  11. Sco 101-3published at 12 overs

Romario Shepherd with something a little bit short and Richie Berrington waspishly cuts the West Indies seamer for four.

Berrington punches the penultimate ball of the over down the ground for a single to take Scotland's score into three figures. Tom Bruce picks up a single of his own to keep the strike.

  12. 6 runs

    Sco 94-3published at 11.2 overs

Tom Bruce capitalises on back-of-the-hand slower ball from Romario Shepherd which comes out as a full toss and heaves it over the boundary for six.

A few more of them would not go amiss for Scotland here.

  13. Sco 86-3published at 11 overs

    Target 183

Scotland are very much still in this one.

Romario Shepherd - named after the legendary Brazilian striker, I kid you not - returns to the attack for West Indies.

  14. 6 runs

    Sco 83-3published at 10.2 overs

Richie Berrington is giving Scotland some hope here.

He mullers slow-left arm spinner Akeal Hosein into the stands for six over square leg, before following it up with a more fortunate boundary off the bottom edge attempting to sweep.

  15. Sco 72-3published at 10 overs

Time for Tom the Bruce to retreat to the cave and get some advice from a spider...?

Shamar Joseph cuts Bruce in half with the final ball of the over, only for it to be chalked up as a no-ball

An unconvincing swat away behind square to pick up four off the free hit.

That should give him some courage.

It's a reprieve for Tom Bruce who to be honest hasn't looked brilliant. He's looked tentative, he's looked unsure about what his options are. He needs to find some options quickly.

  17. dropped catch

Bruce dropped on fivepublished at 9.3 overs

A baseball-style swat from Tom Bruce off Shamar Joseph which goes sailing towards Jason Holder at mid-off.

Holder seems to lose it in the floodlights, gets his feet in a bit of a tangle, and allows the ball to slip through his hands.

  18. Bruce survivespublished at 9 overs

The ball clearly bounced before Gudakesh Motie got his fingers under it so Tom Bruce survives.

  19. Umpire reviewpublished at 9 overs

Tom Bruce appears to chip a caught-and-bowled chance to spinner Gudakesh Motie, but has it carried?

    Motie is celebrating.

  20. Sco 62-3published at 8.3 overs

A bit streaky for Richie Berrington, who backs away to Gudakesh Motie and slices an edge through the vacant third region for four.

Every run vital for Scotland here.
