    Many would have assumed that Usman Khawaja was done and dusted in Test cricket after he was dropped for the Brisbane Test.

    Not so - on the eve of his 39th birthday he picks up his 28th Test fifty, a single into the covers off Brydon Carse bringing up the landmark off 81 deliveries.

    Alex Carey picks up a third four through the covers off Tongue's opening delivery, punching off the back foot, then adds another boundary cutting behind square.
