    Lehmann b Ogborne 50 (Hants 222-4 v Somerset - lead by 172 runs)

With the very next ball - Jake Lehmann is bowled!

It's a strange dismissal this one - Lehmann seems to just leave this one from Alfie Ogborne which goes straight on to take middle and off.

Lehmann will feel he will have done his job for his side but Double Nelson has struck!

  2. 50 runs

50 up for Jake Lehmannpublished at 12:16 BST 19 April

    Hants 223-3 v Somerset

Good punch into the off side sees Jake Lehmann move onto 50 not out off 94 balls.

Lehmann's fourth half-century in as many innings - an excellent knock.

  3. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:14 BST 19 April

    Bartlett b Sharma 1 Northants 263-6 v Middlesex 341

    One brings two.

New batter George Bartlett shoulders arms to a super delivery from Naavya Sharma which hits a good length, nips back and takes the top of off-stump.

    Classic dismissal.

You wait 164 runs for a wicket and then two come at once.

    Lewis McManus is in.

  4. 'Extraordinary from McSweeney'published at 12:14 BST 19 April

    Northants 263-5 v Middlesex 341

    Kevin Hand
    BBC Radio London commentator

    That was extraordinary.

It was such a gentle turn, it dollied up.

He looked back at the surface. The only suggestion I can give is the ball stopped a bit of bounce because it was catching practise at mid-wicket.

Bizarre, you just thought it was the latest of nonchalant steers by McSweeney but not so.

  5. Postpublished at 12:12 BST 19 April

    Hants 219-3 v Somerset (lead by 169)

Jake Lehmann sweeps confidently to the boundary to move him onto 47 not out.

Despite losing two wickets, Hampshire have continued to score runs this morning and their lead has moved onto 169 with seven wickets still remaining.

  6. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:09 BST 19 April

    McSweeney c Higgins b Helm 107 (Northants 262-5 v Middlesex 341)

A tame end to a brilliant innings.

Tom Helm is brought into the attack and breaks the 164-run stand as Nathan McSweeney chips into the legside and is caught at midwicket by Ryan Higgins.

A super 191-ball knock is done and Middlesex finally have a breakthrough. George Bartlett joins James Sales (91).

  7. Postpublished at 12:08 BST 19 April

Gloucs 113-3 v Lancs (lead by 9 runs)

Good news for Lancashire fans - James Anderson is back on.

With just his third ball back into the attack he wraps James Bracey on the pads from around the wicket and there's a big appeal but the umpire remains unmoved.

  8. Postpublished at 12:07 BST 19 April

    Warks 190 v Essex 157-7

Keith Barker is into his work this morning after replacing Nathan Gilchrist who has taken three wickets in this session.

Simon Harmer is up to 15 and skips through for a leg bye in another quiet over.

Shane Snater is still to get off the mark after 14 balls. The deficit is 33.

  9. Postpublished at 12:05 BST 19 April

Hants 205-3 v Somerset (lead by 155 runs)

Jack Leach wraps Ben Brown on the pads and there is a big appeal but Brown looked to be outside of the line and the umpire shakes his head.

  10. 'Unlike Leach bowling'published at 12:04 BST 19 April

    Hants 238 & 204-3 v Somerset 288

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

    It's very unlike Jack Leach.

He's obviously decided to pitch the ball up as far as he dare.

He's just got it wrong the last couple of deliveries overpitching.

  11. Postpublished at 12:00 BST 19 April

Gloucs 111-3 v Lancs (lead by 7 runs)

    Really loose from Ollie Sutton.

Far too short by the left-armer and this is food and drink for James Bracey (36 not out) who pulls comfortably to the boundary for four more.

  12. 200 runs

200 up for Hampshirepublished at 11:59 BST 19 April

Hants 200-3 v Somerset (lead by 150 runs)

Ben Brown - new to the crease - whips Jack Leach through mid-wicket - a loose one from the England spinner, and Hampshire bring up their 200 in the process.

  13. Postpublished at 11:57 BST 19 April

    Warks 190 v Essex 151-7

Harmer hits a four off Ethan Bamber to move into double digits and bring up the 150 for Essex.

It's been a real struggle for the visitors this morning who would have been looking for a decent lead when they resumed this morning.

And so nearly another. Harmer's soft hands saves him as an edge drops just short of Rob Yates and denies the second slipper a second catch of the morning.

Too short and wide from Paul Coughlin and this is dispatched to the square leg boundary by Miles Hammond.

Lancashire's lead has now been eradicated and they will be forced to chase a target at some stage in the fourth innings of this one.

Hammond has settled well this morning and has now moved onto 37 not out.

  15. 'One can bring two'published at 11:55 BST 19 April

    Warks 190 v Essex 151-7

    Don Topley
    BBC Essex

'One can bring two' is that famous cricket saying.

Essex are not entirely confident. They're playing with one less batsman, there's no Wiaan Mulder, there's no Tom Westley.

We're allowing a seam bowler to make his debut so we've got a longer tail.

This game is a long way from being in the ascendancy

    Northants 251-4 v Middlesex 341

After his ton against Kent last week, Nathan McSweeney makes it back-to-back centuries as he pulls Naavya Sharma to the deep backward square boundary.

The Australian brings up the milestone off 177 balls with 16 fours.

That's a 10th first-class ton of his career and it's putting Northants in a strong position on day two.

He came to the crease with the home side tottering on 37-2 - they're now 90 in arrears with four wickets in hand.

It also takes Northants to their first batting point and the partnership past 150. All the milestones.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:51 BST 19 April

    Albert lbw b Gregory 22 (Hants 191-3 v Somerset - lead by 141 runs)

    The captain delivers for Somerset!

This one nips back in on Toby Albert - who can only add a further five runs to his score after returning from retiring hurt yesterday.

Good bowling from Lewis Gregory - who has his fourth wicket of the match - and Somerset have two in quick succession.

  18. 100 runs

100 up for Gloucestershirepublished at 11:50 BST 19 April

Gloucs 100-3 v Lancs (trail by 4 runs)

It's been a good start to day three by Gloucestershire.

Miles Hammond cuts a wide delivery from Ollie Sutton for a single to bring up Gloucestershire's 100.

This partnership is worth 68 now.

  19. Postpublished at 11:48 BST 19 April

Hants 190-2 v Somerset (lead by 140 runs)

Toby Albert comes down the track and clatters Jack Leach over mid-on for four.

Albert didn't quite time that right but, no matter, there was no fielder in sight.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:47 BST 19 April

    Critchley c Malik b Bamber 11 (Warks 190 v Essex 144-7)

Another one goes and the Bears are scenting a lead!

Another loose shot brings a wicket as Matt Critchley carves Ethan Bamber to backward point.

It goes low to Zen Malik who takes the catch.

Four wickets have fallen for just 17 runs as Shane Snater joins Simon Harmer.
