That's gone second tier, that's unbelievable from Dani Gibson.

  2. 6 runs

    Eng 176-5published at 18.3 overs

Huuuuge six! Dani Gibson has taken Kirstie Gordon for four, four, six.

  3. Eng 169-5published at 18.2 overs

Dani Gibson gets in on the act, opening herself up and spraying through point for four.

And it's two in two balls for the England batter as a diving Darcey Carter parries the ball into the ropes around mid-on. It was well-struck but another poor moment for Scotland.

I think Kathryn Bryce was just offering up, she knows she doesn't have pace, Freya Kemp sensed it and just sent it away. Another clean strike.

I absolutely love the way she is timing the ball and waiting for it. So good to watch.

  5. Eng 161-5published at 18 overs

Freya Kemp is in the mood - finally we're seeing the fireworks from England that Katherine Sciver-Brunt teased at the start of play.

Three boundaries in the over - a four and two sixes. She's up to 28 off 12.

That's such a clean strike, Kemp waited so long for that. Kathryn Bryce does bowl slow. Beautiful strike.

  7. 6 runs

    Eng 149-5published at 17.2 overs

Boom. Freya Kemp bangs Kathryn Bryce over the long-on boundary and into the Scotland dugout. She got hold of that one.

Just a thought on the lack of cricket for Scotland and Ireland, could they along with England have an annual tri series in alternating formats. I mean I know there's not a huge amount of space in the English season as it is but surely we can find some space.

I just want to see Gibson and Kemp bat out there, get to 20 overs and see if they can reach that 180-mark.

They may put too much pressure on themselves and think that they need to find the boundary.

  10. Eng 142-5published at 17 overs

A tidy over from Priyanaz Chatterji. Four from it and the wicket of Heather Knight.

    Three overs to go.

That's not a bad thing. Heather was taking more risks than usual, it was good to see her be innovative out there.

Short fine leg, that is the end of Heather Knight.

  13. wicket

    Knight c Gordon b Chatterji 25 (Eng 139-5)

Heather Knight sweeps Priyanaz Chatterji and picks out Kirstie Gordon.

Out walks to the explosive Dani Gibson.

That is exactly what I wanted to see. At the end of the day, you want to be as aggressive as you can. I love that innovation from Heather Knight.

  15. Eng 137-4published at 16 overs

Heather Knight's batting so far has been... unconvincing. But she gets inventive and pings Hannah Rainey for four, pulling fine.

Desperate to keep the scoreboard moving, she goes for a quick single off the final ball of the over. It's dicey but just about safe.

Fraser is normally so consistent, one of Scotland's go to bowlers having a somewhat off day. She just went for 15, I'd be surprised if Kathryn Bryce goes to her for another over if I'm being honest.

The fielder actually ran past that one.

  18. Eng 130-4published at 15 overs

A profitable over for England after that lull. Kemp heaves a boundary through long-on, Heather Knight collects two of her own - one sweeping, another aided on its journey to the rope by yet another fielding mishap.

Katherine Fraser's third over goes for 15.

    Five overs to go.

  19. Eng 115-4published at 14 overs

Just as I finish scrolling back to find the last boundary (it was 11.1 overs, if you're interested), Heather Knight picks off a four through backward square to end the 14th over.
