The tackiness helps with a little bit of turn when the spinners bowl. It does looks slightly wet and that will help Keshav Maharaj if he can get his line right.

West Indies captain Shai Hope: "We've got to put runs on the board again. We probably would have bowled [first].

"One change - Roston Chase for Akeal Hosein. He's certainly not being dropped. It's a tactical change - the best XI for this opposition.

"We've got to play our best cricket. Got to keep that momentum going in this important game and I'm sure the guys are up for it."

South Africa captain Aiden Markram: "We are going to bowl. It looks a good wicket and we have played here before. It feels slightly tacky so hopefully the moisture gets less and we can chase later."

On the experience playing here: "We have been lucky to have played here before. Each wicket is different from the other so still being able to execute what they give you is important and the boys have been doing that well. We have the same team as before."

On Kagiso Rabada: "He doesn't always reflect through numbers but behind the scenes he is putting love into the team. He is doing his thing as KG does."
