  2. Amir Khan's cousin produces stoppagepublished at 20:23 BST 30 May

    Khan beats Fitzmaurice by stoppage

We all know the name 'Khan' in boxing but this time it's Abdul Khan - the cousin of former world champion Amir.

Khan, 23, is now 15-0 in his early career and is fully aware that being the cousin of an Olympic silver medalist helped carve his way.

He told BBC Sport: "Being known as his cousin was always going to be like that because of what Amir achieved. I'm grateful for everything he has done to open the doors - but it is all right getting through the doors, it is how good you are to stay in those rooms.

"It's been my own hard work and dedication which has kept those doors open. This only gives me more of a push to just get out of the shadow. I think we're all our own people and I'd love to shrug off that tag of Amir's cousin.

"My team have always said to build me in the right way and to explode when the time comes - now it's my time.

"He done so much for me but I don't want to latch onto anyone else's name, you only appreciate it more - and get appreciated - if you do it this way."

Francesca Hennessy is one of the most likeable fighters on the domestic scene. She almost always competes with a smile and has an infectious enthusiasm for the sport.

Her journey has taken her from being a slightly overweight child who persuaded her father to let her take up boxing, to an advocate for the sport who has even spoken in the Houses of Parliament.

With her father Mick Hennessy, a boxing promoter and manager who guided Carl Froch and Tyson Fury to their first world titles, she has occasionally faced 'silver spoon' suggestions but Hennessy has worked tirelessly in the gym to forge her own path and establish her own identity in the sport.

Both fighters kept it short with their final messages at Friday's weigh-in. Claggett said he has "sacrificed everything" for this opportunity.

  6. A must-win night for Azimpublished at 20:12 BST 30 May

    Azim v Claggett

BBC Sport at OVO Arena, Wembley

    Good evening from Wembley.

Adam Azim has long been touted as the future of British boxing, with his blistering hand speed and an eye-catching, entertaining style marking him out as one of the country’s leading young talents.

The unbeaten light-welterweight has not moved as fast as he would like, though.

He now faces a slight step up against experienced Canadian Steve Claggett, who went the distance at world level against Teofimo Lopez two years ago.

Azim is targeting a world title later this year, but knows he must not only win here but he must win well. Claggett is durable and battle-tested, and while tougher tests will come, this is a key indicator of where Azim currently stands.
