This could be a test of the composure Azim. He is having terrific success, but Claggett, testament to his toughness, is still right in front of him and is still scoring himself.

  14. Azim the best McGuigan has trainedpublished at 21:32 BST 30 May

    Azim v Claggett

Surely the time for Adam Azim to challenge for a world title is just around the corner?

Trainer Shane McGuigan says Azim is the most talented fighter he's trained.

"I've worked with many world champions and this guy supersedes them all in terms of ability," said McGugian, who has trained the likes of Carl Frampton, Josh Taylor, George Groves and Ellie Scotney.

"If he doesn't become a world champion, I would be incredibly shocked."

  16. Azim up against a 'very difficult and stubborn' fighterpublished at 21:30 BST 30 May

    Azim v Claggett

    Steve Bunce
    Boxing expert on BBC Sport

I'm really pleased that this is a potentially tough fight against a very difficult and stubborn man. We have a history of fighters treading water and not risking it by fighting a guy who is something like 3-8 or 11-17.

If this was his first defence, we wouldn't have a problem with it. If your warm up for a world title is a fight that could be your first defence - not your hard defence - but your homecoming defence, then I don't have a problem with it.

Adam Azim is typically quiet and composed, but away from the ring he has a unique side to his personality.

He once owned a pet goat named 'Tootsie', although he admitted earlier this year that he no longer has it after the responsibility became too much.

It may be the only time a world-title hopeful has had to admit he was outworked by his own livestock.

  20. World-title ambitions for Azimpublished at 21:28 BST 30 May

    Azim v Claggett

    Kal Sajad
BBC Sport at OVO Arena, Wembley

Trainer Shane McGuigan has worked with some of British boxing’s finest - Carl Frampton, Josh Taylor, Ellie Scotney and Caroline Dubois among them - and has described Adam Azim as the most naturally gifted fighter he has coached.

McGuigan, alongside promoter Ben Shalom, believes Azim is on course to challenge for a world title later this year.

From a young age, Azim and his father have spoken about becoming world champion. But it is important to stay focused on the opponent in front of you when you are already thinking about the biggest prizes in the sport. This is the type of fight - and opponent - Azim cannot afford to overlook.
