Summary

  1. touchdown

Touchdown - Ramspublished at 00:42 GMT 11 January

Los Angeles Rams 34-31 Carolina Panthers

Colby Parkinson, what have you done! The tight end wins the race on a wheel route out to the right and jumps up to take in Matthew Stafford's throw.

From there the big man somehow manages to land, turn and keep his feet in bounds before diving into the end zone - that's incredible body control to find paydirt.

SIlence hits the stadium in Charlotte as the Rams go back in front with just 38 seconds left in the game.

Puka Nacua is one tough cookie, getting slammed again when taking a tough catch at the 30. Davante Adams produces a rare drop though on the next play.

A minute and four seconds left.

This offence works because of the run game and the play-action pass. You want the defence to be conflicted wondering if Stafford is going to throw it over their heads

Just two minutes left in this wildcard game and just two minutes left of the season for one of these two sides - but who will advance?

Matthew Stafford hits Puka Nacua and Davante Adams to get up to near midfield as he looks to pinch this way in what's turning into another play-off classic.

Could this one have been settled by that block punt?

  6. 'What you want as a neutral'published at 00:38 GMT 11 January

    NFL have your say

This is what you want as a neutral (and fan of the team behind): a four-point game. So teams have to go for it rather than settling for a field goal.

Jalen Coker is having a coming out party at home on Wildcard Weekend.

Bryce Young takes a look, Coker's one-on-one in the slot against the safety Kam Curl and there was no doubt when Bryce Young threw that ball where he was going.

Another wow moment as Bryce Young floats a wonderful ball to the back of the end zone that drops right in the bucket - or the arms of Jalen Coker as Carolina go back in front again in this wonderful wildcard game.

My word how this game as turned around in this second half, with the Rams giving away sloppy penalties and then having the punt blocked which ended up costing them seven.

There's just under three minutes left in this game and with the lead at four only a touchdown will do for the Rams.

Bryce Young with some trickeration as he fakes the hand-off then flicks the ball forward for Tetairoa McMillian for 16 yards.

  11. Blocked!published at 00:30 GMT 11 January

Los Angeles Rams 27-24 Carolina Panthers

The Panthers have blocked it! Los Angeles dive on the loose ball but since it's fourth down Carolina will take over anyway and the ball's on the Rams 30.

Could that be a game changing play?

  12. Postpublished at 00:29 GMT 11 January

And a stop is what they get after yet another Rams penalty, this time a hold on first down which takes off a nice run and puts them 20 yards behind the chains.

    The Rams have to punt.

Matthew Stafford zips a risky pass into a tight window but Puka Nacua takes a brave catch - three Panthers defenders then all slam into the Rams receiver but guess who bounces up first?

Tough as old boots is Puka.

  14. Panthers puntpublished at 00:23 GMT 11 January

Los Angeles Rams 27-24 Carolina Panthers

Bryce Young can't find Jalen Coker down the right sideline so Carolina have to kick it away. Just over seven minutes left to play so still plenty of time left but this Panthers defence needs a stop.

  15. 'We love an underdog story'published at 00:19 GMT 11 January

Not even a Panthers fan but this defence step up against the SB favourites is insane. Come on Panthers, we love an underdog story!

  16. touchdown

Touchdown - Rams back in frontpublished at 00:17 GMT 11 January

Los Angeles Rams 27-24 Carolina Panthers

Matthew Stafford slings a short pass to Kyren Williams over the middle who then runs and dives into the end zone to put LA back in front.

Really fine answer to the pressure there by the Rams as Stafford leads an 11-play drive of 67 yards to move three points ahead.

The most important play on the drive though as Puka Nacua managing to stop an interception. It's a team game!

Matthew Stafford on the QB sneak to convert a third down, We've seen it all now...

  18. Wow!published at 00:13 GMT 11 January

Los Angeles Rams 20-24 Carolina Panthers

It's a third down and one but Matthew Stafford goes for it all with a throw towards the end zone. It floats into the hands of Carolina's Nick Scott for the interception but Puka Nacua saves the day by punching the ball free before he can come down with it.

Phew! Says Stafford, probably, or something similar as the Rams keep the ball.

  19. 'Atrocious Rams discipline'published at 00:13 GMT 11 January

Rams could be the architects of their own downfall with their atrocious discipline this evening. Will be lucky to win if they keep bleeding penalty yards.

Wow! The Panthers get a penalty after a savage hit from the Rams' Nate Landman, and they take full advantage as Chuba Hubbard drives over for a three-yard rushing touchdown.

Again the Rams haven't helped themselves with a penalty setting Carolina up perfectly for the touchdown, and the hosts are right in the driving seat now with the crowd and the players all now believing they can go on to pull off the upset.

They're winning on defence, they're scoring on offence and they have home field advantage and all the momentum. Can the Rams fight back?
