Green Bay Packers 0-0 Chicago Bears

Couple of early first downs on a nice drive for Chicago so far - lovely screen play Luther Burden before a risky little trickeration that ends up with tight end Cole Kmet having the ball and looking to throw, but luckly he decides not to and runs the ball just short of the marker.

  2. 'Chicago fanbase starved of success'published at 01:14 GMT 11 January

    NFL have your say

It would be cool if the Bears won against the Packers. Last time that happened in the play-offs was 1941. Ok, they've only played each other twice in the post-season but still. But Chicago is a massively underachieving franchise. That fanbase is starved of success. It would signal a great turnaround, as well as for Williams, in a tight game with no clear favourite.

    Phoebe Schecter: Bears

This is going to be awesome. They're divisional rivals and it's the NFL's oldest rivalry, so there's so much familiarity. That's what makes it so exciting.

They've played each other twice in the last five weeks and they're 1-1. The Packers almost beat the Bears in week 16, and that was after Micah Parsons' injury and being without Jordan Love for most of the game.

Caleb Williams is doing such a great job with his game management, his athleticism, the way the ball just jumps out of his hand, and his receivers are coming together, so I have the Bears on this one.

They have had the most fourth-quarter comebacks in a season (six) and their defence leads the league with 33 takeaways. They'll probably need to get a couple more against Jordan Love to really seal the deal.

    Ben Collins: Packers

The Bears have had a great season but such is the anticipation in Chicago, I feel it may overwhelm their relatively inexperienced roster.

Green Bay upset Dallas as the NFC's bottom seed two years ago and I have a sneaky feeling they will again be the party poopers.

    Paul Higham: Packers

Twice Caleb Williams has had the ball late with the chance to win both games in the regular season - he just failed in Green Bay but did the job in an amazing finish here at Soldier Field.

It may well come down to him again, but I reckon this time the Packers defence can do a proper job and Jordan Love will take care of the football to avoid this ball hawking Bears defence as the Packers pinch it.

  6. Road to the play-offs - Packers (9-7-1)published at 01:12 GMT 11 January

After falling at the first hurdle in last year’s play-offs, the addition of defensive star Micah Parsons turned Green Bay into genuine Super Bowl contenders.

They opened the season by beating last year’s top NFC seed Detroit but a week three loss at Cleveland showed that the Packers are still fallible.

After playing out this season’s only tee in Dallas, Green Bay won seven of their next nine, with Jordan Love looking comfortable at quarterback and Parsons wreaking havoc on defence.

Then Parsons suffered a season-ending injury in their week 15 loss at Denver, and the following week Love was forced out of their overtime loss at Chicago through a concussion, halting all their momentum.

Having done enough for a play-off spot, Green Bay have licked their wounds and tried to regroup over the past two weeks, as they ended the regular season with a four-game losing streak.

Jordan Love and Caleb Williams have gone head-to-head twice in the past five weeks, with the divisional rivals splitting the series 1-1.

But who will emerge victorious in the big one tonight?

Hit thumbs up for Packers, down for Bears.

After watching all three of their divisional rivals reach last season’s play-offs, few expected Chicago to flip the script and win the NFC North with a 11-6 record.

Green Bay (9-7-1) also made it to the post-season, securing the NFC’s seventh seed and setting up just the third play-off clash between the NFL’s oldest rivals.

In his first year as head coach, Ben Johnson has guided the Bears into the play-offs for the first time in five seasons, while the Packers have missed out just once in seven years under Matt LaFleur.

The two teams have faced each other twice in the past five weeks, with Green Bay winning 28-21 at Lambeau Field before Chicago won 22-16 in overtime three weeks ago.

This is one of the toughest games to call on Wildcard Weekend so strap yourselves in as these familiar foes could produce another nail-biter.

I can sit here right now and make a really favourable argument for pretty much every team in the play-offs, especially in the NFC.

There's the Rams and Seattle, then you start talking about San Francisco and Philadelphia, teams that have been there, with championship pedigree.

I agree, I think the next couple of weeks will be as exciting as the NFL's had in a long time.

Phew, what a game! Congratulations to the Los Angeles Rams who advance to the Divisional Round after a play-off classic in Charlotte.

It was all LA early on as the Panthers made the mistakes, had the turnovers and looked like they could get swept aside.

But things changed big time and in the second half the Rams shot themselves in the foot with penalties, missed chances and then a blocked punt that looked to have handed victory to Carolina.

Matthew Stafford is seen as the MVP this season though and he showed why with his late touchdown drive as Colby Parkinson scored with 38 second left in the game.

Third and 10 coming up on the Carolina 28 and just 17 seconds left on the clock as Bryce Young goes for big throw after big throw, maybe just a short completion would help.
