The Panthers need to find ways to open up the field, speed up the offence.

The Rams are making it hard for Young, getting in his face. And even when they want to run, the Rams defensive line is containing everything and pushing things backwards.

Oh no! Chuba Hubbard is in acres of space on the left for a swing pass but Bryce Young just puts a hint of fade on the easiest of throws and it ends up bouncing off Hubbard's finger tips.
That's a tough break as Carolina have to punt it away when that would have been a huge gain as Hubbard had plenty of room to charge down the field - that's a huge blow for the Panthers.

I've been really impressed with Bryce Young. He's taken some big shots. He's going up against one of the best defensive fronts in the league and he keeps getting back up and firing.

A couple of Rico Dowdle runs to start the latest Carolina possession, but they're still two yards short of moving the sticks on third down.

The league leader in yards after the catch, some astonishing highlight reel grabs, oh and he can block as well.
Is he the Offensive Player of the Year? Who else would you say is better? Let us know...

Davante Adams takes a tremendous catch on the sideline but he comes down out of bounds, and Sean McVay opts to play it safe on fourth and four by sending Harrison Mevis out to boot a 46-yard field goal.
Probably the right decision there from McVay as it just opens up a 10-point lead again, although you wouldn't have been surprised had he rolled the dice with Matthew Stafford and all his attacking options.

One of the features of this Rams offence is the tight end threat they have in the form of multiple big pass-catches.
That includes Tyler Higbee who breaks out wide open down field to take a diving catch for a big 36-yard gain just when the Rams needed it.

The volume has jumped up a few notches in Charlotte and it's making a difference with two quick penalties on the Rams - one for a false start and one for offside - which shows that the fans are having an impact on the game.

Image source, Getty ImagesMy opinion is that the Panthers don’t deserve to be in the play-offs. They counted on the Falcons winning last week to make it. I think the Rams will win by a mile. And for later, come on Bears!

Thanks for joining us Liam. The Panthers may not deserve to be here, but after that touchdown they're making a game of things right now...

The Panthers on the board! And it's Chuba Hubbard who punches it in from just a yard out.
That's an impressive response from Bryce Young after a tough start - albeit helped out massively by that end zone flag as Carolina have struggled in the red zone all season.

Xavier Legette can't catch a pass at the back of the end zone, but Rams cornerback Cobie Durant sees a flag fly in and that's on him as he's got his back to the ball while making contact.
That'll never fly with the refs in the NFL. The Panthers well set up nicely now at the one-yard line with a fresh set of downs.

Bryce Young hitting his rookie receiver Tetairoa McMillan for two big completions of 14 and 22 yards on consecutive plays as the Panthers march right down into the red zone.

I love how they manufacture touches for Nacua. The guy can do it all so all you are trying to do is get him in the perfect match-up and that’s what they did on this drive. This offence runs through Nacua.
When you've got a guy like that, all you have to do is get him the ball and let him do the rest.

We spoke to the Panthers' defensive coordinator and he said 'we have to turn this into a kicking contest, we have to force red-zone field goals'.
So far the Rams have been down there twice and the Panthers have had no answer to Puka Nacua.
Los Angeles Rams 14-0 Carolina Panthers
A second touchdown for the Rams and a second for Puka Nacua! This one will go down as a five-yard rush as it's a flat pass behind the line of scrimmage from Matthew Stafford fired out to his left.
Nacua takes the ball in traffic but we all know how strong this guy is by now and he barges through tackles to find the end zone for the second time.

Jalen Coker runs an in-break dig route and just stops because he feels Quentin Lake there [behind him]. Bryce Young thinks Coker is going to stay on the move and run through that zone.
A lot of Carolina's guys, it's their first time in the post-season and you can see there's a lot of excitement and a lot of nerves. They had that clean game where everything went their way to pull off the upset [against the Rams] in week 13 and to start this one it's the opposite.
Los Angeles Rams 7-0 Carolina Panthers
The first quarter ends with a brilliant one-handed catch from tight end Colby Parkinson for 15 yards - the first Ram not named Puka Nacua to catch the ball today.
That's the end of a quarter that's been almost the exact opposite of the way the first meeting went.
Los Angeles Rams 7-0 Carolina Panthers
Bryce Young makes two first-down throws but then sees a pass over the middle intercepted by Cobie Durant.
Jalen Coker was working across the field but stopped his run under pressure from Quintin Lake - but Young still let it fly to where Coker was heading and, after a tip from Lake it fell into the hands of Durant.

As long as the Rams don't get too aggressive with the deep balls and the defence stays in shape like they are doing now, this will be an easy game for the Rams to win.
