    Houston Texans 7-6 Pittsburgh Steelers

This looks like going down to the wire as well with two great defences making the headline moves.

BUT anything can happen in the NFL - which way will this one go?

Thumbs up for Steelers and thumbs down for Texans.

  4. Not enough for Houstonpublished at 02:41 GMT 13 January

Houston Texans 7-6 Pittsburgh Steelers - second quarter

CJ Stroud gets a pass away but it's not enough to move the chains and they have to punt in the dying seconds of the half.

The kick has enough hang time on it to let the clock hit triple zeros as we get to half-time with a one-point ball game on our hands.

Houston Texans 7-6 Pittsburgh Steelers - second quarter

CJ Stroud escapes pressure by moving forward out of the pocket and he has Nico Collins wide open in acres of space, but the quarterback's throw on the run is way over his head.

Houston Texans 7-6 Pittsburgh Steelers - second quarter

CJ Stroud goes for a big one and finds the hands of Jaylin Noel, but he takes a big hit as he comes down with it and the ball pops out incomplete.

Houston now face third down and five.

Time out taken with 41 seconds left on the clock and Houston on their own 33. CJ Stroud needs a big play pretty quickly if the Texans want to end the half with points.

  8. field goal

Chris Boswell is good from 35 - as you'd expect as his 18 from 19 in field goals in the play-offs.

Pittsburgh just a point behind now after at least getting three off their second turnover.

  9. Two-minute warningpublished at 02:27 GMT 13 January

Houston Texans 7-3 Pittsburgh Steelers - second quarter

Pittsburgh will kick a field goal when we return after a powerful show of force from Houston's defence - who just outmuscled the Steelers after the hosts took over on the 21.

  10. Sacked!published at 02:25 GMT 13 January

Houston Texans 7-3 Pittsburgh Steelers - second quarter

Aaron Rodgers is looking, looking, looking for a receiver in the end zone but you can't take that much time and he goes down for a sack and loss of nine.

He actually goes down after being struck by his own team, with Houston's defence just overpowering the offensive line of the Steelers and collapsing the pocket all around Rodgers.

Pittsburgh will try a field goal.

As most Pittsburgh fans know, the Steelers have not been a big-play offence.

When they've gotten the big plays in the passing game, most of the time it comes from yards after the catch.

Yet this Houston defence is so good at tackling. They don't give up a lot of room.

  12. Complete!published at 02:23 GMT 13 January

Houston Texans 7-3 Pittsburgh Steelers - second quarter

Aaron Rodgers manages to convert on fourth down - to veteran wideout Adam Thielen, who moves the ball inside the 10.

    First and goal Pittsburgh.

  13. Postpublished at 02:21 GMT 13 January

Houston Texans 7-3 Pittsburgh Steelers - second quarter

Pittsburgh stuffed on two runs, then Aaron Rodgers nearly gets it all with a checkdown to Kenneth Gainwell, and this time Mike Tomlin is going for it on fourth down....

  14. Stroud fumbles again!published at 02:19 GMT 13 January

Houston Texans 7-3 Pittsburgh Steelers - second quarter

Well, that's one way of stopping them! CJ Stroud loses a fumble again, that's his second of the game of not losing a single fumble all season - and Pittsburgh get the ball back.

It's TJ Watt this time who drops on the ball.

  15. Postpublished at 02:19 GMT 13 January

Houston Texans 7-3 Pittsburgh Steelers - second quarter

Houston again start with a nice run - they've got 78 rushing yards already and it's an issue for Pittsburgh who really need to stop the Texans getting so much joy on the ground.

Aaron Rodgers isn't going to be fooled. But really, this a defence that doesn't try to fool you. They just line up and come after you.

  17. Pittsburgh punt againpublished at 02:15 GMT 13 January

Houston Texans 7-3 Pittsburgh Steelers - second quarter

Danielle Hunter comes charging at Aaron Rodgers and he just throws the ball away in a panic - but having not got outside the tackle box that's intentional grounding and Pittsburgh are left facing a third and 21.

They obviously can't convert so it's a quick stop for Houston and a punt for Pittsburgh, who have a pretty tired defence on the bench after that last long Houston drive.

This is an excellent job. It's designed well. CJ Stroud acted like he was going to turn and toss it behind him but as Christian Kirk comes across, he's open immediately and is able to make a man miss.

That's an excellent drive for 92 yards.

  19. touchdown

Touchdown- Texanspublished at 02:08 GMT 13 January

Houston Texans 7-3 Pittsburgh Steelers - second quarter

CJ Stroud rolls out to his right and when tacklers come he just drops the ball in behind them to Christian Kirk, who then beats his man to run in for a six-yard touchdown pass.

That's the end of a brilliant drive from Houston that started on their own eight - and they've gone 92 yards in 14 plays and just over seven minutes.

That's called a statement of intent.

  20. Postpublished at 02:07 GMT 13 January

Houston Texans 0-3 Pittsburgh Steelers - second quarter

Rookie running back Woody Marks scampers away for the biggest run of the game at 20 yards and then backs it up with an eight-yard run to get inside the 10.

Marks is injured on that play but Houston will hope he can play on as he's been pretty productive with 51 rushing yards already.
