Garin kwaki na daga cikin abincin da ake sarrafawa daga rogo, kuma ya samu karɓuwa matuƙa a Najeriya da wasu sassa na ƙasashen Afirka ta Yamma.

Wasu na jiƙawa su sha da ruwa, wasu suna kuma ƙara madara da sukari da gyaɗa a ciki, sannan wasu kuma suna tuƙa teba ne da shi kamar tuwo.

Wannan ya sa BBC ta zanta da ƙwararru ɓangaren cimaka da lafiya Dr Sa'adatu Sulaiman da Dr Abdulmalik Ibrahim da ke aiki a Babban Asibitin Gwarzo da ke Kano domin sani alfanu da illolin shan kwaki.

Dr Sa'adatu ta shaida wa BBC cewa "mutanen da suke shan gari tare da haɗin wasu na'ukan abinci masu gina jiki, ba matsla domin jikinsu zai samu abubuwa masu amfani."

Shi kuma Dr Abdulmalik ya ce kwaki na da wasu illoli, musamman idan ba a cire sinadarin cynide da ke ciki ba.

Ya ce, "a cikin garin kwaki akwai sinadarin cyanogenic wanda ke da illa ga lafiyan ɗan'adam."

Amfanin garin kwaki ga lafiyar ɗan'adam

Ga wasu abubuwan da mutum zai iya samu idan aka haɗa garin kwakin da wasu na'ukan abinci.

  • Ƙarfin jiki: Garin kwaki na ɗauke da sinadarin carbohydrate mai yawa, yana bayar da ƙarfin jiki sosai domin harkokin yau da kullum.
  • Rashin maiƙo: Kwaki ba shi da maiƙo. Zai yi kyau ga mutanen da suke ƙoƙarin rage maiƙo a jikinsu. Amma zai fi kyau idan aka haɗa garin da wani nau'in abinci mai maiƙo irin kifi ko gyaɗa.
  • Ba shi da sinadarin gluten: Da rogo ake sarraafa gari, don haka ba shi da sinadarin gluten. Don haka zai yi amfani ga mutanen da jikinsu ba ya son sinadarin ko kuma masu cutar celiac.
  • Yana da sinadarin fibre: Idan ba a niƙe komai a cikin garin ba, za a samu ragowar sinadarin fiber wanda yake taimakawa wajen niƙe abinci, amma ba ya ɗauke da sinadarin kamar sauran hatsi.
  • Ƙara vitamin: Wasu garin kwakin da ake sayarwa na ɗauke da vitamin A.
  • Sinadari rage ƙiba: Wasu binciken suna nuna cewa abincin da aka sarrafa daga ogo na ɗauke da sinadaran da ke rage ƙiba - amma wannan na da alaƙa da yadda aka sarrafa garin.

Sai dai kwaki ba shi da protein sosai, haka kuma ba ya ɗauke da sinadaran iron da zinc da calcium sosai. Idan mutum ya riƙa shan garin kawai ba tare da wasu nau'ukan abinci ba, jikinsa zai rasa wasu sinadarai masu muhimmanci, kuma hakan za iya jawo masa illa.

Dr Abdulmalik ya ce idan ba a sarrafa gari da kyau ba, musamman idan rogon na da tsami, zai iya janyo cutar gurɓacewar cyanide wanda ke jawo amai da mutuwar jiki, wani lokacin ma har ya shafi yanayin tafiyar mutum.
