Following their gruelling clash in the ‘Battle of the Backsides’ for Sport Relief 2014, footballing legends Alan Shearer and Robbie Savage are back for a rematch of epic proportions. This time it’s serious and they’re calling on you to join them as they go head-to-head once more for the BBC Radio 5 live ‘Battle of the Five-A-Sides’ for Sport Relief.

It’s a huge three-day event that will see Alan and Robbie each player-manage a squad, with over 1,000 people taking part to play a combined total of 57 hours of continuous five-a-side football – the equivalent of playing an entire Premier League season.

The teams will play on constant rotation on the Premier League Five-A-Side Stadium at MediaCity UK in Salford from Thursday 3 March to Saturday 5 March.

You can watch and listen to every minute right here from 9.15am on Thursday alongside live text commentary from 8am, including the best goals and goofs.

It's not too late to participate either. If you need some extra incentive, the best goal of the three days will be chosen by Alan and Robbie and will be shown on MOTD2 on Sunday night! It could be you...
