  2. GOAL!published at 13:56 GMT 3 March 2016

    Shearer 5s 44-43 Savage 5s

Whoooosh! Here's a contender for goal of the weekend. One of Shearer's team-mates hammers a thunderbolt from the halfway line that flies past Savage's keeper. In fact I think she ducked out of the way.

And that strike is doubly special, putting Shearer's team back ahead for the first time since mid-morning.

  4. (Not so) safe handspublished at 13:49 GMT 3 March 2016

Not only does Union J's Josh Cuthbert has a decent voice, he also has decent feet.

Sport Relief star Josh used to be a footballer apparently, although his Wikipedia page doesn't tell us to what level.

Actually, I should say Josh has decent hands because he used to be a goalkeeper.

However, his hands weren't hat safe - he had to quit after damaging his thumb in a shooting accident. This is all Wiki talk mind...

    Shearer 5s 36-39 Savage 5s

Hang on! Shearer's team have raced into a 5-0 lead. Savage looks like he's borrowed Newcastle's defence for this one.

Peep peep peeeep! The latest of our 30-minute matches grinds to a halt. Shearer's side edge past Savage's lot in the match between two teams from Preston North End's Community Walking Football Scheme.

    The fightback begins!

Those of you who own a Union J download/CD/cassette/MiniDisc will know who Josh Cuthbert is. Those who don't, and didn't know who he is, do know now - he's a member of the British boyband.

He's also playing in a marathon 12-hour Sport Relief 5-a-side stint tomorrow.

  18. Win at all costs?published at 13:08 GMT 3 March 2016

    Shearer 5s 31-38 Savage 5s

Someone's had a word with Shearer - he's now trundling across to the ball like an Olympic walker. Savage still isn't listening. He's running around in typical fashion. Against pensioners. Some people will do anything to win!

All square, 2-2, at the moment. Great contest!

Shearer looks like he has aged about five years in the past four hours.... Keep going Al!

  20. Setting the pacepublished at 13:01

Finally we have a set of players nearer to Shearer and Savage's age bracket. The average age has increased by a few years as some older players from Preston North End Community, who usually play walking football, join the two ex-Premier League stars.

Seems to be a much faster pace than that to me. In fact it is probably quicker than most of the previous games...
