  4. What did the judges think of Georgia and Giovanni's Showdance?published at 19:35

"You took me from Fifty Shades of Green to the magical world of Ballroom!" Bruno says, before praising the storytelling and mix of styles.

"I did enjoy it. Loved the Tango and Viennese stuff. Specifically the blindfold section I thought was absolutely wonderful," Craig praises.

"It was such a wonderful, wonderful start. It was lyrical, it was smooth," Darcey critiques. "The emotion and the intent all the way through carried on."

"I loved the fusion of the two dances... You're a lovely Ballroom dancer," Len finishes.

  5. How did Georgia get through her dreaded Quarter-Final dance off?published at 19:30

    Quote Message

It wasn't nice [being in the dance off]. I was really terrified and upset. Giovanni said from the beginning [of Strictly] that he wanted me to be in the dance off, purely because he wanted me to experience the good and the bad of the show... Being in the dance off makes you realise how much you want to be in this competition. When I was in the dance off I thought 'no I don't want to leave!' - I had to go there and dance my heart out!

  6. Me, myself & Strictly: Georgia May Footepublished at 19:29

Georgia's Strictly experience has been a rollercoaster. Her proudest moment is getting her first 10 and she laughs out loud every day on Strictly.
  7. Jay and Aliona's Showdance - the judges' scorespublished at 19:29

  8. What did the judges think of Jay and Aliona's Showdance?published at 19:27

"It was like a trip down memory lane... Jay and Aliona's greatest hits. I would have liked a bit more 'show'," Len says, slightly exasperated.

"I think I got wrong footed... You did - what I call it - a pick'n'mix of different flavours." Bruno says. "When it comes to dancing, you always deliver."

"I was disappointed, I really was. I know you're capable of so much more. It felt for me that there wasn't a build or any particular climax." Craig says glumly.

Darcey praises Jay's technique. "I especially had high expectations of you... You just needed to go out with a bang."

  11. What did Jay take from his Strictly experience?published at 19:22

    Quote Message

When you first start, you do think it's a possibility that you could win the glitterball'. But as the weeks go on that does become redundant; you realise that what you're getting from the show isn't the chance of winning, but the experience of the show... I'm in love with this show!

"You never fail to be this beautiful, classy lady... You got it nearly all the way through, just until the very end," Darcey observes.

"There was a couple of places where she -" the audience starts to boo (again)! "I just love your upper body when you move," Len eventually finishes.

"You always hit a bump here and there, but you managed to continue and get there in the end," Bruno says.

"You need to get your prop management together, darling..." Craig says, "But it was a major improvement on last time."

  17. Katie's journeypublished at 19:10

Radio 3 and BBC Proms presenter Katie Derham was always expected to have musicality oozing out of every pore - and her endless legs, she's managed to translate her knowledge on the dance floor. Professional partner and Strictly veteran Anton du Beke literally couldn't believe his luck when he was paired with the broadcaster and they've proved to be the perfect match.

    Media caption,

An exclusive look at Katie and Anton’s first day of training. Think they look promising?

    3. Cha Cha - 20
    4. Viennese Waltz - 33
    5. Salsa - 21
    6. Paso Doble - 21

    11. Foxtrot - 35
    12. 25 (Charleston), 31 (Waltz) 56 (total score)

Katie had a steady start to the contest, but started to break away from the pack with her Week 8 Rumba, scoring the highest the saucy slow dance had seen this series up to that point. From then, she's gone from strength to strength, matching her Blackpool score of 35 in the Quarter-Final with a character-packed Foxtrot before earning chuffed partner Anton a much longed for place in the Final last week!
