Quote MessageCompletely countered by EDG
Leigh 'Deman' Smith
EDG take multiple fights over the map; PawN teleports to the bottom lane on critically low health points, but knows his boundries, flashes over Rekkles's Thundering Shuriken and secures the kill. That play required split second reactions.
Quote MessageThat is magnificent!

EDG attempt an engage onto Huni, but Reignover is there to assist. While EDG manage to take out both players, Huni takes Koro1 with him and Febiven roams in from the mid lane to catch Clearlove before he makes his escape.

Freezing and farming, LoL style

Freezing
While minions are computer controlled, you can manipulate their movement through savvy play. If you stand in front of the enemy minions as they waddle into the lane and then walk away from them, you can make them attack them all attack a one of your minions. This all sounds very complicated, but the bottom line is that your minions will die faster than theirs, which means the battle will slowly shift toward your side of the map, drawing your opponent into an unsafe area, making it harder for them to farm.
Farming
Not sewing and harvesting crops, but rather gathering gold via last hitting minions.
2 kills to EDG
Fnatic try to take a two versus two fight at top lane but EDG tip the scales by teleporting PawN into the fray.
Quote MessageEDG pick up two kills for nothing

Five players converge onto the middle lane and both mid laners pick up a kill.

Game 1 - FNC vs EDG
Fnatic (blue side)
Bans: Kalista, Lulu, Tahm KenchPicks: Rek'Sai, Alistar, Kennen, Viktor, Jarvan IV
Edward Gaming (red side)
Bans: Mordekaiser, Gangplank, ElisePicks: Thresh, Gragas, Fiora, Jayce, Twisted Fate
The teams are pulling out all the stops. Both teams have picked unconventional marksmen (AD Carries). Kennen and Jayce often feature in the top lane but will be down in the bottom lane. Kennen will be providing a little more utility in that he can stun multiple targets and self-peel which means he can stop aggressors by himself with his ultimate ability, Slicing Maelstrom.
There are some AMAZING cosplayers here at Wembley today - all rocking the looks of their favourite League of Legends champions.

Swedish, German, French and Spanish players are represented, but what about the UK?
Players from all of the world are competing at the 2015 World Championships, including pros from China, Korea, North America, Taiwan and many more. But where are the players from the United Kingdom?
H2k's expert Support player Raymond 'KaSing' Tsang comes from the United Kingdom and appeared at the last qualifying event in Paris, but unfortunately did not make it out of Groups.
Other players from the UK include Matt 'Impaler' Taylor, who has featured in the European and North American League of Legends Championship Series. Simon 'Fredy122' Payne has been a regular of the European LCS recently on SK Gaming.
But what does it take to be an English professional League of Legends player? Through many hours of dedication the next pro could be you! Once you start playing League, you'll have to level up to level 30, and from there you'll be able to play 'ranked', which pits you against other players trying to rise to the top of the ladder. From there you can achieve different rankings including Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Masters and the highest tier achievable, Challenger. Many professional teams scout the Challenger tier for fresh talent to add to their roster. If you want to go pro, rising to the top of ranked will be where you start.
Once you find a team, there are many tournaments you can enter within the UK for cash prizes and more. The next step is to move onto European wide tournaments including the European Challenger Series, where the winners will have a shot at challenging the top level teams to secure a spot in the League of Legends Championship Series, or LCS. The LCS season is composed of two 'Splits' in Spring and Summer and carries a lot of prestige within the League scene; all of the EU teams here at Worlds qualified through the LCS!
Fnatic may have a lot of support from the home crowd, but China's EDG (Edward Gaming) have still got a lot of support both here at Wembley and online.
