Oh, it's a poor end from Great Britain.

Bruce Mouat puffs out his cheeks after GB's penultimate throw. Sweden have three stones in play.

Rasmus Wrana plants a fourth stone in the house and Jen Dodds fails to knock any of them out of the way before Isabella Wrana pops another stone onto the tee.

Sweden collect five points. Is that a match-winning end?

    Two ends to go. Eek.

After the nail-biting tension of last night's team event, we are back on the ice tonight for the first round of the ice dance competition.

A total of 23 couples will take to the ice in the rhythm dance - the shorter of the two sections in this competition, and where teams have to perform set techniques for direct comparison.

The top 20 scoring couples all progress to Wednesday's final, so if you skate clean you should be grand. But the scores carry over to help determine the final rankings, so you can't play it totally safe.

Ice dance features GB's best medal hope in figure skating - flagbearer Lilah Fear and partner Lewis Gibson, who have won world and European bronze in the last year. We will see their fabulous Spice Girls routine here. Hai si ja, hold tight.

Also in action are young GB hopes Phebe Bekker and James Hernandez. They impressed finishing 11th at the recent Euros, and will aim to progress through to the final round.

Curling mixed doubles semi-finals - GB 3-3 Sweden

Great Britain have a lengthy conflab with coach Greg Drummond ahead of their final shot.

Drummond and Bruce Mouat don't seem convinced by the plan but Jen Dodds succeeds in clearing out two Swedish stones to leave a red GB stone on the inner green ring.

Isabella Wrana's hammer kisses Britain's stone but can't force it out of the way.

Great Britain steal a point to level the match!

One ski slightly in front of the other, knees slightly bent, arms outstretched like a scarecrow (not like a gymnastic salute) - the gold standard of ski jump landings.

Ski jumping - men's normal hill individual

The individual ski jumping events consist of a first round and a final round, with one scored jump per athlete and points combined from the two jumps to produce the final standings.

Only the top 30 from the first round advance to the final round.

Points are awarded for distance, with athletes earning 60 points for jumping to the K-point. Every metre above or below the K-point results in a points bonus/deduction of two points.

And as if chucking yourself off a huge slope and flying through the air at 60mph wasn’t enough of a challenge, athletes are also at the mercy of five judges with style points up for grabs.

A maximum of 60 points are available (20 per judge, with the highest and lowest scores discounted), with judges looking at your flight, landing, and out-run.

The penultimate gold medal event of day three will get under way at 18:00 GMT – it’s ski jumping and the men’s normal hill individual event.

Domen Prevc, 26, is aiming to follow in the footsteps of brothers Peter and Cene and sister Nika and become the fourth member of his family to win a Winter Olympic medal. The Slovenian is the reigning world champion on the large hill but only finished 18th on the normal hill.

Japan’s Ryoyu Kobayashi is attempting to become the first athlete to defend the men’s normal hill title at a Winter Olympics and only the second to win it twice after Switzerland’s Simon Ammann.

Norway’s Marius Lindvik is the reigning world champion while compatriot Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal and Germany’s Felix Hoffman have impressed in training.
