Give Su Yiming the gold. I know we're supposed to keep the suspense alive, but I can't see anyone getting close to that level of perfections with that level of technicality.

That is one of the best slopestyle runs of all time. He is going to cry. It doesn't get any better than this.

That was almost autopilot from top to bottom. You could punch that run into AI and it couldn't do it any better.

What a performance that was by Great Britain's duo of Andrew Musgrave and James Clugnet.

They cross the line in fifth, 7.6 seconds behind winners Norway.

GB had never finished higher than 12th in the men's team sprint.

    Stunning!

What a run from Su Yiming! Inch perfect. He is in tears at the end, he's produced on the biggest stage at the crucial and he can't quite believe he's managed it.

But remarkably... the judges have it as a 82.18, slightly lower than his first run.

Still in the gold medal position but the Chinese athlete and his coach both thought that was better. It was definitely cleaner.

There's just no stopping Johannes Hosflot Klaebo.

That's his fifth gold medal at Milan-Cortina 2026 and his 10th Olympic gold medal overall.

Einar Hedegart also grabs his second gold of these Games.

Gus Schumacher is sticking with Johannes Hosflot Klaebo, but the Norwegian is starting to push.

Can the American keep Klaebo in his sights? Nope. The cross-country golden boy is going to do it...

  8. USA's Canter moves into the medalspublished at 11:32 GMT 18 February

    Snowboarding - men's slopestyle final

Brilliant run from Jake Canter of the USA and that gets him a 79.36. He moves into the bronze medal position.

But his team-mate Red Gerard, who was gold medallist at the X Games in 2024 and 2025, won't be taking home a medal today.

The 25-year-old is unable to improve on his 76.60 and lies fifth.

There's the bell. One more lap.

There's daylight between the competitors now and Einar Hedegart surges late on to give Johannes Hosflot Klaebo the best possible chance of a 10th gold medal.

The Norwegian has got a 1.5 second advantage.

GB are up to eighth, 5.3 seconds behind the leaders.

The field is starting to stretch and Johannes Hosflot Klaebo is right at the front, with Italy and Sweden close behind.

But it was another superb lap by James Clugnet and Great Britain are only 1.5 seconds behind in ninth. They're still in the running.

Great Britain are still in the top 10, but only just. Off goes James Clugnet again, 2.3 seconds behind leaders Norway.

No surprises there. Johannes Hosflot Klaebo is the fastest athlete on the second lap. But there's still only two seconds separating the top 11 teams.

That includes GB, with James Clugnet exchanging to Andrew Musgrave just 1.5 seconds behind Klaebo.

No changes to the medal positions after the second run in this slopestyle final.

It means Su Yiming of China still leads the way but Mark McMorris came so close to moving past him.

The veteran Canadian went big but just couldn't land his final trick. Had he done so, he'd have soared into the gold medal position.

He'll have one more chance to get it right and hope to add to improve on his three previous bronze medals.

Things are hotting up after the first run. The experience of Su Yiming has taken him to the top spot with two runs to go. He has won a gold medal before in big air and he knew how to to put things down.

It's interesting to see Mark McMorris and Dave Menzies, who qualified in first and third, have not done so well on their first runs. They put down clean runs, but they are going quite small which might be affecting their results.

We have got so many runs to go and so much could change, so it's already proving to be very exciting.

That's the women's race over. Now it's time for the men and when it comes to cross-country at these Winter Games, Johannes Hosflot Klaebo is the star of the show.

The Norwegian has already won four gold medals at Milan-Cortina 2026 and on Sunday he became the Winter Olympics' outright most successful athlete with a record ninth gold medal.

Can he take that tally to 10 today?

The 29-year-old will be racing alongside Einar Hedegart, who was part of Norway's winning relay team and also won bronze in the 10km freestyle in Italy.

It's yet another cross-country gold medal for Sweden!

After taking silver in Beijing four years ago, Jonna Sundling and Maja Dahlqvist upgrade their medal.

And it wasn't that big of a gap in the end! Switzerland surged late on and only finished 1.4 seconds behind the Swedes.

It was a tight battle for bronze on the line, with Germany just clinching it ahead of Norway.

Rebecca Morrison spoke to BBC Sport after their last-ditch victory against the United States: "There was a lot a stake. We just had to keep believing. We were up against it and the end but we are here to fight and that's what we did. Between me and Sophie [Jackson], we absolutely nailed it."

Sophie Jackson added: "When it's in the moment, it doesn't feel too nerve-wracking. It feels amazing to make those shots. You can see our thrill at the end, that's what we're here for at the Olympics."

On tonight's match against Japan: "It was a game we would like to be better in, it was up and down throughout. We hadn't been on the ice since the stones had been rubbed so it was a little bit different for us. We will go away and figure out how to place our draws a bit better tonight."

There goes the bell, we're into the final lap! Jonna Sundling of Sweden has upped the ante to give Maja Dahlqvist a huge advantage.

They've got an 8.8 second gap on the rest of the field, with Finland in the silver-medal position and the United States in bronze - although there are plenty of teams hot on their tails.
