A break-point chance for Stephane Houdet and Ji Zhenxu comes and goes as the Chinese player miscues a backhand wide from behind the baseline.

Ji finds his range for a winner later in the game to force another deuce, but the British pair make it seven successive games won to move closer to the men's wheelchair doubles final.

    Polmans/Hunter v Arevalo/Ostapenko - mixed doubles final

'Learn how to lose' - tempers flare between Siegemund and Ostapenko

There was some real tension in the mixed doubles earlier this week.

Jelena Ostapenko and Marcelo Arevalo's progression to the semi-finals was marred by a post-match argument with their defeated opponents.

A late time violation penalty left Laura Siegemund storming off the court in anger, triggering a dispute between her partner Edouard Roger-Vasselin and Ostapenko over claims and counter-claims of slow play.

Ostapenko and Arevalo have made it to the final and they will face Australian pair Marc Polmans and Storm Hunter on Centre Court shortly.

  13. 'She is a great fighter'published at 18:34 BST 9 July

    Kostyuk 4-6 4-6 Noskova

Some more from Linda Noskova after her win over Marta Kostyuk which set up an all-Czech final: "Karolina [Muchova], she is such a great fighter, such an incredible player, but mainly and mostly she is such a great person. So I'm happy I get to play my first final against her."

On how she will prepare and sleep before it: "I sleep well all the time so hopefully this will be no change!"

On superstitions: "I have so many superstitions, I can't even start to name them. It's like 20-30 things a day - I feel like it is an illness at this point! I'm using all same routines in the morning, pretty much same lunch, using same bathroom, same sink, so I'm not going to change anything."

  14. 'When I play my best, I know I can play with the best players'published at 18:30 BST 9 July

    Kostyuk 4-6 4-6 Noskova

Linda Noskova, speaking after her straight-set win over Marta Kostyuk to reach first Wimbledon final: "A semi-final at a grand slam is never easy, no matter who you play, no matter where you play. I just tried to be as patient as possible, keep cool and somehow I did the last point."

On her gameplan: "I always just try to focus on my self, my game. When I play my best, I know I can play with the best players in the world and have a great result, which is a final in a grand slam I guess."

On first time playing on Centre Court and when she dreamed of this: "I was not watching a lot of tennis as a kid, but I do remember when Petra Kvitova won her grand slam here, maybe one of the first moments I realise sport such as tennis exists. Still in shock I had a chance in my life to play on such a court and get a win."

On if she enjoyed it and the atmosphere: "Not so bad... No, I enjoyed it, I enjoyed it so much."
