In the process he spoiled Zhang Anda's wish to play his boyhood hero this evening. Zhang produced an equally impressive performance to see off reigning world champion Zhao Xintong yesterday, so this could be a classic.

Wow. What a clearance that is. Pang Junxu comes to the table 72-11 points down with only 51 points on offer.

But he gets a snooker, seven points for Neil Robertson hitting the black and the bonus of a free ball and completes a remarkable clearance of 51.
