As a proud Welshman, I'm hoping Mark Williams pulls this one out of the bag tonight!

It looked Ronnie O'Sullivan was going to win that frame but the left-handed shot on the pink cost him. We get so used to Ronnie O'Sullivan casually changing hands and knocking it but that was one that got away from him.
Higgins 1-1 O'Sullivan
Clinical from John Higgins. He has a bit of tricky shot on the green but manages to sink it before mopping up the brown, blue and pink to steal the frame.
Higgins 0-1 O'Sullivan
A break of 35 from Ronnie O'Sullivan but, playing left handed, he watches the pink rattle the jaws of the corner pocket. John Higgins returns to the table. Just the colours left and he leads 49-46.

Very rare to see Ronnie O'Sullivan pulling safety shots. John Higgins has not started this match well, though.
Higgins 0-1 O'Sullivan
John Higgins bungles a safety shot and Ronnie O'Sullivan captialises with a plant into the corner pocket which allows him to attack the rest of the table.
The Rocket trails 31-49 but is building up a head of steam with a break here.
Higgins 0-1 O'Sullivan
Ronnie O'Sullivan misses a red into the middle pocket attempting to get on to the pink but it's a tricky table and it's not long before he plays a shot nothing on a red to play safe. Higgins 36-10 ahead.
Williams 7-10 Hawkins

It's a very scrappy frame but the Welshman takes it 73-5.
Higgins 0-1 O'Sullivan
The reds are bunching more than a U6s football match on bottom-left quarter of the table at the moment which means both players are reluctant to take on the pot.
Eventually O'Sullivan gets a red to go in off another red.

Nobody knew that these two would meet in the second round when they bought a ticket - they've got five numbers on the lottery.
The crowd should make the most of this because there's no guarantee they will play on this stage again. It's one to savour and we hope it's a great match. I'm sure the players will want to make it a great match but it's only the second round.
Higgins 0-1 O'Sullivan
A slightly cagey start to the second frame with Ronnie O'Sullivan fouling a couple of times during a tactical phase.
John Higgins plays a safety but...where's the cue ball going? Into the top-left corner pocket is the answer.
Higgins leads 23-4 at the moment

A break of 86 for Ronnie O'Sullivan gives him the opening frame.

This is the ideal way for Ronnie O'Sullivan to lay down a marker in this heavyweight contest. Ronnie has been bang on it from the start.
But it's nothing that John Higgins wouldn't have expected.

Image source, Michael EmonsWhat a night it could be for Barry Hawkins, as he holds a 10-6 lead over three-time world champion Mark Williams.
Hawkins, a finalist here in 2013, is aiming to make the quarter-finals for a seventh time and he needs three more frames to do so.
If he is feeling any nerves, he certainly wasn't showing it as he signed autographs for fans and posed for pictures not too long ago.

Ronnie O'Sullivan pots a red into the corner pocket and manages to dislodge the black from the pink but with a cluster of reds it is spotted where the yellow normally resides.
O'Sullivan has ticked along nicely to 45, though, and it cueing nicely.
Higgins 0-0 O'Sullivan
Ronnie O'Sullivan gets the contest up and running with the a break of 23 so far.
But with pink spotted right next to the black it is a tricky table so he's having to cultivate the blue for the time being.
