It looked Ronnie O'Sullivan was going to win that frame but the left-handed shot on the pink cost him. We get so used to Ronnie O'Sullivan casually changing hands and knocking it but that was one that got away from him.

Clinical from John Higgins. He has a bit of tricky shot on the green but manages to sink it before mopping up the brown, blue and pink to steal the frame.

A vital frame for Mark Williams to win as he cuts the gap between himself and Barry Hawkins to three.

It's a very scrappy frame but the Welshman takes it 73-5.

The reds are bunching more than a U6s football match on bottom-left quarter of the table at the moment which means both players are reluctant to take on the pot.

Eventually O'Sullivan gets a red to go in off another red.

What a night it could be for Barry Hawkins, as he holds a 10-6 lead over three-time world champion Mark Williams.

Hawkins, a finalist here in 2013, is aiming to make the quarter-finals for a seventh time and he needs three more frames to do so.

O'Sullivan has ticked along nicely to 45, though, and it cueing nicely.
