That disturbance in the crowd put him John Higgins a bit and the way Ronnie O'Sullivan is playing now with a break of 27 it looks like it is going to be costly.

John Higgins sits down in his seat and sighs.

The Scot is distracted by some movement in the crowd attempting to pot a straightforward red and pulls out the shot.

Wu Yize is without doubt a star of the future. He's future top-four player. A future world champion? That's difficult to say when you look at the players who have only won it once but he has a bright future.

Once again Ronnie O'Sullivan is ahead of John Higgins on safety success. The Rocket is stringing together all aspects of his game at the moment.

Wu Yize finds a bit of fluency as he wraps up the 11th frame in what has largely been a slightly slower affair on table two.

The 22-year-old from China has a narrowly lead but Mark Selby, aka the Jester from Leicester, is still well and truly in this one.

The mini-session between John Higgins and Ronnie O'Sullivan is shared with two frames apiece, which means it can't be completed today.

We still have four frames left today, so even if O'Sullivan won all four he'd still be one short before Monday's final session conclusion at 13:00 BST.

The other ongoing match is the one between Mark Selby and Wu Yize and that's at 5-5. Just like today, that will be on the other table to Higgins-O'Sullivan tomorrow afternoon.

John Higgins returns to the table and manages to close out the frame 63-7 as Ronnie O'Sullivan concedes.

John Higgins with a break of 55 before he rattles a red into the jaws of the left-corner pocket. Ronnie O'Sullivan springs up from his seat - there's enough left on the table - but he plays a carbon copy of Higgins' miss.

John Higgins is chipping away. He's shows glimpses of the artist as well as the artisan during a break of 49 which looks to be guiding him towards the 12th frame.

The match on table two is much more evenly matched.

Wu Yize has levelled it up despite Mark Selby's efforts to snooker him with just the pink and black left on the table.

John Higgins could lose the match tonight the way this is going. He's looking weak. When he gets in he doesn't look confident. From the first frame last night he has looked intimidated which I'm surprised at because he's had a good season. For some reason in this match he's been like a rabbit in headlights,

John Higgins purses his lips as Ronnie O'Sullivan sits down in his chair and gulps down a few mouthfuls of water after rattling off a eye-catching break of 80 to clinch the frame.

The veteran Scot is five frames behind and up against a seemingly unstoppable force on this form.

Ronnie O'Sullivan stands back, has a plan of attack and the goes with it. It's all pretty natural to him. What a treat it is for the Crucible crowd to see one of the all-time greats flying. A genius at work.

Ronnie O'Sullivan is absolutely in the zone at the moment and if he can sustain it over the rest of the tournament he could go far.

John Higgins offers him a way into the frame and O'Sullivan glides round the table in a blur of reds and black.

O'Sullivan has 54 points to Higgins' 8 and counting.

I thought Ronnie O'Sullivan was incredible last night with his intensity and focus. You could see it in his eyes that he was determined to do a job.

John Higgins looked ordinary to be frank. Higgins is capable of doing the same to Ronnie tonight but the next few frames are huge for John.

Ronnie O'Sullivan pots a brilliant long red but cannot really get on a colour, so decides to indulge in a bit of a safety exchange with John Higgins.
