Both players are getting worse as this final goes on. There's been so many unforced errors. One of them needs to find a gear from somewhere.

John Higgins will be shaking like a leaf even though he won that frame.

It's good that they've both gone out the auditorium, thrown a bit of water on their faces and started again.

The end of that frame is something Kyren Wilson needs to forget about pretty quickly, and even John to some extent.

Dean in Bridlington: John, doing everything in his ability to gift Kyren frames tonight.

John in Airdrie: Massive frame for John Higgins.

Akhmed in Sheffield: I'm surprised how poor Kyren has been at times in this match. You expect it from Higgins but expect more from Wilson to hammer home an advantage more strongly.

Dave in West Midlands: The wizard works some magic! Come on John!!!!

A fantastic effort by Kyren Wilson to get back in that frame including some amazing misses by John Higgins. Who could have expected what would happen when Kyren got to the pink? Maybe he should have played the power shot.

Kyren Wilson attempts an audacious cut but it's too fine and the cue ball ends up rolling into the middle pocket. John Higgins comes back and duly pots the pink to clinch the frame.

Cat and mouse now with just two balls left on the table. This feels a vital frame in the overall context of the match.

It’s so much more entertaining when it’s not just a bad break off and end of frame and big break after big break. So much more interesting when pressure forces mistakes, these guys are human.

John Higgins then fouls on a partially unsighted pink. Remarkable.

Kyren Wilson asks him to replay the shot. This time Higgins makes contact.

Wilson needs both pink and black. Higgins just the pink.

John Higgins keeps missing long pots when offered to him by Kyren Wilson's mistakes attempting snookers.

The Scot fouls on the yellow - striking the blue - after being snookered leaving Wilson with a chance to clear up and steal the frame. He's 20 behind with 22 remaining.

Higgins sits down his chair, cursing under his breath.

No is the answer! A simple black is missed after a break of 61. Kyren Wilson needs a snooker, though.

A meaty yellow allows John Higgins to open up the pack and with a break of 31 behind him he sets to work. Four reds left. Can he take the frame in this visit?

I'd really like to know from Stephen Hendry if he would have refused the difficult black that Kyren Wilson turned down in frame 10. Nothing better than a Sunday evening watching the snooker.
