A different style of rugby from both sides - ball emerges from mauls/scrums and the ball is kept in hand by passing, rather than a hopeful kick into space as continually witnessed yesterday.
A thoroughly entertaining half of rugby! How Italy have improved, they were arguably on top for most of that half but France look like they can score at any time, from almost anywhere, with anyone.
Brilliant hands again from the France forwards as they move it through non-existent gaps, debutant wing Gael Drean can see the line and puts his foot down to streak in...NO!
Stopped by a cracking tackle that puts him into touch and ends the half.
France are all frills but that's a bit sloppy as forward Oscar Jegou hurls a blind long pass inside and it goes to an Italian hand. They kick downfield and have some territory now. A time and a place for that.

Menoncello is immense. Been a huge part of Italy’s impressive campaign so far. Carries so strongly and makes loads of post contact metres - developing well in that midfield!
That is so French! A long kick downfield puts them under pressure and Thomas Ramos for some reason flicks it to Theo Attissogbe behind his own tryline and in traffic.
The full-back does well to get on the poisitive side of the line but the ball came out and opposite 15 Capuozzo dives in, steals the ball and touches down.

Thomas Ramos (con Ramos)
They can hurt you in so many ways! Italy overthrow a lineout, the ball bounces up and centre Emilien Gailleton picks it up and SETS OFF.
He motors away, streaking clear on the diagonal and then has the ability to pick out a pass inside for 10 Ramos who barges over. Italy had the ball for an age, France had it for 15 seconds and score.
Tommaso Menoncello breaks the France line brilliantly but he's swamped just as he's looking to hand off to a man in red. Cracking effort this from Italy but they just can't quite convert.

Really rooting for Italy to come away with at least a losing BP here.
Starting to think the final weekend matches will be big battles for points difference, positions and pride while France find out if they win by a Grand Slam or not (and most likely will).
