  1. 'It has been end-to-end stuff'published at 16:14 BST 6 June

    HT: Bath 17-17 Leicester

    Vicky Macqueen
Former England full-back on BBC Radio Leicester

I think Leicester will be relatively pleased, certainly with the way they started the game. They came out of the blocks firing which was absolutely what they needed to do.

But it has been end-to-end stuff, there has been errors from both sides, particularly from Tigers with a few missed tackles and probably not quite recycling in defence quick enough.

But there has been some real positives as well. They are stepping up on occasion, it's probably not the most consistent performance but they are showing glimmers of good play out there as are Bath as well and that's is why it's such a tight game.

How crucial will that couple of minutes be in the contest of of this match?

After being under the cosh for large parts of that half, Exeter Chiefs go down the tunnel leading.

  4. 'Exeter will be feeling confident'published at 16:10 BST 6 June

    HT: Exeter 8-5 Saracens

    Brent Pilnick
    BBC Sport at Sandy Park

That try has lifted the Sandy Park crowd, who in truth have had very little to cheer about this half.

Exeter will be disappointed going into the break as mistakes at the wrong time have cost them.

But with a man advantage for the opening chunk of the second half they'll be feeling confident right now.

    Huge moment in the game.

Credit to Exeter for not settling for half-time, they kept playing, sustained pressure, and the line-out move is slick. How badly the Chiefs needed that. The players get a standing ovation as they leave the field for half-time.

Try: Exeter 8-5 Saracenspublished at 16:07 BST 6 June

Norey (45 mins), missed con Slade

Max Norey dives over the try-lineImage source, Shutterstock

The Chiefs are over the line!

Max Norey has struggled with his line-out throws but he gets this one spot on and it's a lovely move as Christ Tshiunza catches and offloads immediately to Ethan Roots as Sarries anticipate the drive.

Instead Roots sends it back to Norey who has held his width and he dives over the line!

What a great decision to kick that penalty deep rather than settle for half-time.

Henry Slade can't nail the tough conversion from wide.

  7. Sin-bin: Charlie Bracken (Saracens)published at 16:06 BST 6 June

    Exeter 3-5 Saracens

The Sarries scrum-half Charlie Bracken can have no complaints there, he sticks out a lone hand and stops the pass to the Exeter winger - he wasn't in a position to catch that so yellow card is the right decision.

No penalty try though as there was cover.

  8. Postpublished at 16:04 BST 6 June

    Exeter 3-5 Saracens

Henry Slade is showing his quality and influence and his arcing run looks to have found some space for Exeter but the ball goes to ground - it looks like from a Saracens hand.

The officials are going to take a close look at this.

What a call this could be!

  9. Postpublished at 16:03 BST 6 June

    Exeter 3-5 Saracens

Instead of kicking it out for half-time, Henry Slade boots it downfield and his side are going for it at the end of this first period.

They now have the penalty advantage too in the 43rd minute...

  10. 'Great kick from O'Connor in horrible conditions'published at 16:03 BST 6 June

    HT: Bath 17-17 Leicester

    Adam Whitty
    BBC Radio Leicester commentator

That was a great kick from James O'Connor in horrible conditions. Far side of the field, through the posts and Leicester have levelled things up.

    What a game!

  11. Half-timepublished at 16:02 BST 6 June

    Bath 17-17 Leicester

What a fabulous half of Prem rugby - breathless stuff at The Rec!

Leicester grabbed an early advantage when former Bath back Orlando Bailey dived over on the short side.

Their lead was eaten into less than five minutes later when Thomas du Toit crashed over from close range and the South African doubled his tally before the quarter-hour mark.

Joe Cokanasiga did fabulously to come in from the right flank and extend over for Bath's third but that late try just before the break from Jack van Poortvliet - added to by James O'Connor's excellent conversion - and we're all-square once more.

  12. Postpublished at 16:02 BST 6 June

Scrum penalty to Saracens with the clock in the red.

Chiefs prop Scott Sio is singled out by ref Karl Dickson.

They opt for the corner with kicking conditions difficult.

    Line-out lost!

We've said that a lot this afternoon.

  13. Gloucester stretch clearpublished at 16:01 BST 6 June

Ben Redshaw celebrates scoring a try for GloucesterImage source, Shutterstock

Gloucester have got their try-scoring bonus point after Ben Redshaw crossed for their fourth try.

They now need to hold on for victory against Newcastle and a Champions Cup place will be theirs next season.

Harlequins trail Prem leaders Northampton and their chances of making Europe's top competition are looking very bleak.

  14. Dogfight in Devonpublished at 16:00 BST 6 June

    Exeter 3-5 Saracens

    Chris Jones
BBC rugby union correspondent at Sandy Park

The match started very brightly, with both sides looking lively in attack, but it's turned into a dogfight.

Given they are against the wind, Sarries will feel very happy with life as we near half-time.

  15. Postpublished at 16:00 BST 6 June

    Exeter 3-5 Saracens

Saracens hooker Jamie George finds jumper Hugh Tizard in the line-out and the visitors will have one last chance before half-time.

But it comes to nought because of a forward pass.

Tense, tight, gritty, but ultimately very engaging stuff.

There's a play-off place on the line here remember.

  16. try

Try: Bath 17-17 Leicesterpublished at 16:00 BST 6 June

Jack van Poortvliet (39 mins), con O'Connor

    Leicester level!

They are not going away today.

A driving maul from the line-out gets them to within a couple of metres and it's an opportunistic finish from scrum-half Jack van Poorvliet to haul Leicester back in this one.

    Jack O'Connor kicks the conversion.

  17. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Bath 17-10 Leicester

Penalty Leicester this time. Bath off their feet at the break down.

Leicester's Orlando Bailey kicks to the corner.

This first half has absolutely flown by at the Rec as the home crowd raise their voices once more.

  18. 'A let off for Chiefs'published at 15:57 BST 6 June

    Exeter 3-5 Saracens

    John Lockyer
Former Exeter Chiefs captain on BBC Radio Devon

That was a left off for the Chiefs because that looked a perfectly good rugby try because they moved the ball quickly and Rotimi Segun was diving over in the corner. The tackle was brilliant.

This game which hasn't risen to the dizzy heights but you can tell there's a lot on it, it's very tense.

  19. Postpublished at 15:56 BST 6 June

    Exeter 3-5 Saracens

Five minutes before the break - can either side seize the momentum and gain the upper hand in this arm wrestle?

Not Exeter on this occasion as yet another line-out goes awry.

Don't forget, the winner of this game will secure a play-off spot, the loser misses out.

  20. 'Sarries with a good grip of this gamepublished at 15:54 BST 6 June

Even though it's only 5-3, it just feels like Saracens have got a good grip of this game.
