The interesting one will be the conversation about who will be Ireland's 10. Jack Crowley played quite well but I thought when Sam Prendergast came on, the team had more energy and more attacking intent.

    Ireland 41-10 Japan

    Brian O'Driscoll
Former Ireland captain on TNT Sport

Tommy O'Brien has been really good today but the final ball has often gone wrong. He has been Ireland's liveliest player and deserves that score even though it is a bit harsh on Japan.

    Ireland 41-10 Japan

Japan haven't been as electric as they were in the first half but this scoreline feels a bit harsh.

As the half has gone on, the Japanese have tired and Ireland have been more accurate and more clinical.

    Tommy O'Brien (con Prendergast)

    Tommy O'Brien gets his try!

Japan continue to throw it about but Sam Prendergast pounces on a loose ball. He feeds Tommy O'Brien with an inside pass, and the wing races clear to score.

    Sam Prendergast converts.

    Rory Best
Former Ireland captain on TNT Sport

His brother Joe has been a key man for Ireland in recent years but that's a lovely moment for Paddy on his home debut.

Their parents will have no problem getting tickets for years to come!

Ireland look to spread the play but Jacob Stockdale's offload rolls forward and Japan will have the scrum.

Converted Try - Ireland 34-10 Japanpublished at 72 mins

    Paddy McCarthy (con S Prendergast)

It's a first Ireland try for Paddy McCarthy!

It's amazing what a functioning line-out can do.

Ireland are right on the Japan line and Blade goes close, but McCarthy makes no mistake as he slips through a gap to score Ireland's fifth try.

    Sam Prendergast adds the conversion.

    Rory Best

I thought Ireland might have been told to use it but they got it going again and the addition of a couple of the backs gave that maul impetus.

That probably takes the game away from the Japanese now.

BANG! Gus McCarthy is a try-scoring machine and he gets his third try in green.

An injury concern for Andy Farrell as Jamie Osborne walks off holding his arm.

With Hugo Keenen also out injured that will be a concern at full-back.

Jimmy O'Brien is on in his place.
