    FT: Edinburgh 26-24 Gloucester

Edinburgh head coach Sean Everitt tells BBC Scotland: "A tough talk at half-time. It wasn't a lack of effort, but a lack of accuracy. There were a lot of errors, but we tightened it up.

"Proud of how the boys put it together in the second half. It would have just given me less grey hairs if they had done it in the first 40.

"It's difficult going in at 18-5 down if you haven't fired a shot, but we fired several of them. We played some good rugby, just didn't finish.

"Credit to Gloucester, they defended extremely well. Magnus [Bradbury] showed good leadership and we were much improved.

"Ewan Ashman is a great carrier for us and brings a lot of energy. A great guy to have in our group.

"It's a massive win for us. We did target 10 points in our home fixtures. The competition is tight this year, so we'll be looking at the other results this weekend and then go to the Rec next weekend."

  3. 'We could have scored more'published at 22:24 GMT 9 January

    FT: Castres 20-43 Bath

Bath fly-half Finn Russell speaking to Premier Sports:

"It was great to get the five points, we didn’t start off that well, conceded two tries and yellow cards but overall it was very good.

"Coming away from home to Castres, which is one of the hardest places to go, the boys dug in and we got the win in the end.

"Our discipline after the first 20 minutes, we’re happy with that today, when we had chances we took them and we could have scored more as the weather was better than expected so to turn it on when we had to was good.

"The forwards were good in the set-piece and the backs were sharp as well so overall it’s a good performance."

  4. 'Getting that bonus point is massive'published at 22:14 GMT 9 January

    FT: Castres 20-43 Bath

Bath director of rugby, Johann van Graan, speaking to Premier Sports:

"Delighted with that, it was a real team effort. Conditions were bad when we came here but improved through the game which suited us.

"We got through some tough spells and the try just before half-time was big but it was a real 80-minute performance.

"Our cohesiveness, we stuck to the plan, we played against the wind in the second half, we defended our line well and getting that bonus point is massive."

    FT: Edinburgh 26-24 Gloucester

Edinburgh flanker and player of the match Freddy Douglas has been talking to Premier Sports:

"Two games in a row where it's last minute for us - that shows the fight we have.

"Back in the day I probably gave away too many penalties, but [winning turnovers] comes with experience. It's knowing not to go for the 50-50s and waiting for the right moment.

"Tom Currie and Liam [McConnell] have taken their opportunities really well, but it also builds hunger in me and I'm glad now I'm getting a few opportunities."

  6. 'Every point is crucial'published at 22:09 GMT 9 January

    FT: Castres 20-43 Bath

Bath number eight Alfie Barbeary, named man of the match, speaking to Premier Sports:

"We knew they would come out firing at home because they are a great side but we trusted our squad, we’ve got great depth off the bench and Guy Pepper, Josh Bayliss, Will Butt, they were unreal and helped us over the line at the end there.

"This is a big competition and every point is crucial so to get a bonus point here, that extra point is huge if you look at the group. There is some fierce competition there."

    Castres 20-43 Bath

Well if that doesn't sum up Castres' night.

They look odds-on to score but somehow the final pass doesn't go to hand under no pressure and with the line at their mercy.

He's only been on the pitch for a couple of minutes but Tom Carr-Smith gets his name on the scoresheet as Bath make the most of the gaping holes appearing in the Castres backline.

    Will Muir (con: Russell)

    That will probably be that!

Alfie Barbeary is involved again, handing off a tackler before getting the pass away, Max Ojomoh then sends the ball back inside to the waiting Will Muir who gallops over.

Beno Obano and Will Muir were both yellow-carded in the first half and have now both scored tries in the second.

Finn Russell's conversion extends the lead to 16 which is likely too much for Castres to come back from.

    Castres 20-29 Bath

A big turnover from Bath as Castres looked to attack - but then Tom Dunn's line-out throw isn't straight, gifting the hosts possession back.

Castres have a scrum about ten metres into Bath territory.

This feels like a big final 10 minutes considering how tight this pool is.

A Bath bonus point win would be huge.

And Bath win the scrum penalty!

  17. Penalty Edinburgh 26-24 GLOUCESTERpublished at 76 mins

    George Barton

George Barton has been excellent off the tee for Gloucester and he splits the posts again to reduce the deficit to just two points.

Young Edinburgh lock Euan McVie is on for his professional debut.

    Castres 20-29 Bath

Jeremy Fernandez's spiralling kick has too much for the usually reliable Santi Carreras who spills it.

Fortunately Finn Russell is there to clear up at first - his clearance isn't the finest but Bath escape as the ball kicked to the corner has too much on it.

There's a little bit of afters between Carreras and Castres wing Christian Ambadiang who claims he was barged into touch by the Puma, but there's nothing in it and the officials step in to calm everyone down.

Carreras' momentum just carried him into the Castres wing as they both chased the ball.

  19. Penalty: Castres 20-29 Bathpublished at 62 mins

    Finn Russell

A sensible change in approach from Bath as they earn a penalty and - with the bonus point bagged - opt for the sticks.

Finn Russell makes no mistake as Bath move two scores ahead once again.

  20. try

Penalty try EDINBURGH 26-21 Gloucesterpublished at 68 mins

Charlie Atkinson is deemed to have collapsed the maul illegally before Ben Muncaster got to the line.

Referee Luc Ramos awards a penalty try and Gloucester's fly-half is sin-binned.

What a turnaround this has been!
