Louis Bielle-Biarrey has all the skills, and he reads the game superbly well.

The deft touch to kick the ball on to score - he's got the hands, he's got the feet, and he can defend.

He gets into positions that make it easy to run in tries.

A very, very clever player. A bit like Antoine Dupont - they just pop up and score.

Like our man Chris Ashton, you've got to be in the right position.

Anon: #bbcrugby Matt Dawson is completely wrong it wasn't the knock on that lost it - it was kicking away AGAIN when we could have just held onto it for 2 minutes. It's so unbelievably stupid! Are they paid not to win?

Rob - Warwick: One of the best games of Rugby I've ever watched, and best Six Nations for a long while. Unfortunately though I fear tonight might keep Borthwick in the job longer despite a woeful reign. I respect the improvement of the Azzuri but we've finished below Italy. He has to go.

Dan, one-eyed English fan: Gutted, surely not even the most one-eyed French supporter will claim they actually deserved to win that? So dominant from England, why Bamba's yellow wasn't accompanied by a penalty try is going to be a talking point for a while.

France defence coach Shaun Edwards on ITV: "Another crazy game, a great one for the fans, rugby at the moment is phenomenal.

"If it was just your team conceding lots of points you would be worried, it's frustrating but that's the way the game is going. Look at the scores all around the world, it's a regular occurence nowadays.

"It's a group we are building, they can improve in the future.

"That's my seventh Six Nations - by the way..."

England coach Steve Borthwick on ITV: "Firstly congratulations to France, they are a tremendous team and it was an excellent game. Last year we won it very late in the game and it's the nature of this fixture.

"It has taken time to get the relationships in the team, we have been disappointing in the last few weeks and we wanted a result tonight but we hope the fans can be proud of how the team played.

"The yellow cards have hurt us but I think tonight's was very debatable. Luck has gone against us but we have to be better than that. I am very clear on the direction of the team, we wanted to achieve more in the tournament, clearly, but we will make sure we do that going forwards."

Being able to keep a clear head is a lesson that I hope England will learn. England will be in the game with seconds to go again.

It will involve simple things like communication.

Who in that group is shouting discipline? No-risk rugby. It is a lesson to take away.

Two years ago against France it was the same story.

The England players may have been going through the motions and not challenging what was in front of them. This time, they played the game in front of them.

France were left guessing at times. England won’t see that at the minute.

This is a reminder of how England want to play, and it brings out their best performance.

They should be extremely proud of themselves.

Incredible. what a spectacle, England showed up and took France to the wire. That points differemce - England missed three, Ramos missed none.

The one thing that has let them down is giving away penalties, and they gave away that one last one for Ramos.
