Converted try - France 31-27 Englandpublished at 42 mins

    Louis Bielle-Biarrey (HAT-TRICK)

That did not take long as France find the space for that extra man, who just happens to be Louis Bielle-Biarrey in the corner for an easy third of the night.

Thomas Ramos then floats a beauty of a conversion.

Rob in Cambridge: So let me get this right, England, who have had their worst tournament in recent memory, are sticking it to France, the tournament favourites, away. The same tournament favourites who got smashed by Scotland last week, but the same Scotland who lost to both Ireland and Italy. Oh and that's the Italy that lost to Wales... makes perfect sense. Brilliant tournament!

Megan: Where have this England been?! Smooth, exciting, dynamic play. This is what the Six Nations should be!

James, Cheddar: Brilliant rugby from England, but how were France not penalised for pulling down the maul but then England were?!

Eoin, Llimerick: Never thought I'd hear Swing Low Sweet Chariot sung in a Limerick rugby club

France have scored two tries in both times this tournament when they have come up against 14 men. That's the challenge facing England now as they emerge for the second half.

One other point to update you on, Henry Pollock came on for Ben Earl at the end of the first half.

Fair to say Steve Borthwick was fuming with the referee's decision to award a penalty try on the stroke of half-time.

How are we feeling so far England fans? And Ireland fans?

What a half in what has been a sparkling tournament...

    Mike Henson

A vastly improved showing from England on their previous three games. There is wit, guile and pace to the backline and the forwards are going toe-to-toe with France's heavyweight pack.

Whisper it quietly, but it feels a lot like last year's fixture at Twickenham in which France bristled with danger but couldn't cut England adrift on the scoreboard and eventually paid with Elliot Daly's late try taking the contest.

The Irish media aren't leaving Aviva Stadium just yet.

There's a lovely big screen set up in the press conference room and England's first-half efforts have certainly generated a bit of atmosphere.

No beers yet though. Strictly professional. We arrived here at 10.30am. A long day, but so far a fairly enjoyable one from an Irish perspective.

It feels like everyone has taken a moment to catch their breath. That's the type of game we thought would be played to decide the title.

The ruck speed from England was great. There is an opportunity to create one of the great England wins.

Michael: Totally inconsistent officiating at the maul. France pulled down 3 mauls.

Chris from Bath: Hate to say it but Ellis Genge has had a poor tournament.

What a half of rugby that is! Everyone questuioned if England had the minerals to throw some shots at France, but they were better than that.

But it is a lot of work for a three-point advantage, and now down to 14.
