It's another try from captain fantastic.

Expect to see plenty of Josh Macleod in the Six Nations, he's in superb form.

    Macleod try, Costelow con

Scarlets are back in the lead and, after a timely intervention down the other end earlier on, it's Josh Macleod with the try.

It's a clever bit of play from the captain as, with the ball virtually on the line, he picks up and simply places it an inch or two further forward onto the whitewash.

Why go through all those big carries when you don't have to, eh?

    Scarlets 10-12 Ulster

Charlie Irvine is pinged five metres from his own line.

A decision to make for Scarlets.

    They'll go for the tap...

The wind really playing its part now.

Jake Flannery, still on after Mike Lowry went for an HIA, gets himself in knots under a high ball in his own 22 and spills forward.

His heart must have been in mouth but Tom Rogers knocks on with the line at his mercy.

Scarlets have the consolation of a scrum in Ulster's 22.

That's a carbon copy of Ulster's first try.

Scarlets repel the initial maul, but allow a player to break away.

It had been an encouraging start from the hosts, but ill-discipline is starting to prove costly.

    Ward try, Doak con.

Has Bryn Ward managed to dot that down? He has!

It required a TMO review to be sure but the powerful back row twists, turns and stretches for whitewash.

Doak converts and, after what has not been their best 27 minutes or so this season, Ulster have the lead.

    Scarlets 10-5 Ulster

    Almost but not quite!

The maul is halted just short again, Stewart breaks off again...but this time he's stopped in his tracks.

    Ulster still in possession, though.

    Scarlets 10-5 Ulster

Ulster go for the up-and-under and Scarlets come straight in off their feet at the breakdown.

The visitors go for the corner again.

Will it be the same result?

    Stewart

This time the maul does get over for Ulster!

Despite Robert Baloucoune and Stuart McCloskey piling in to help their forward colleagues, the pack get stopped just short but hooker Tom Stewart breaks off and finishes powerfully.

A bit of reward for a sustained period of pressure from Ulster, though the wind takes Doak's conversion way off line.

Another Scarlets infringement, another kick to the corner...

The wind is really having an impact on Ulster's kicking.

Jack Murphy's latest one down the line comes up just on the edge of the 22.

Ulster attack off the top of the line-out rather than try the maul this time.

Scarlets are showing intent on both sides of the ball.

Interim director of rugby Nigel Davies spoke about showing bravery this week, and we're seeing plenty of that in the opening 15 minutes here in Llanelli.

Scarlets have not beaten Ulster since November 2018, there's a long way to go, but it's a great start.

That's certainly a captain's effort from Josh Macleod.

Scarlets stop the maul and, just as Ulster try and get their attack set, the home skipper is over the ball to win a turnover just metres from his own line.

Still nothing doing for Ulster so far this afternoon.

    Scarlets 10-0 Ulster

Ulster are trying to find a foothold in this game.

Scarlets are caught not rolling away and, rather than go for the three, they'll try their luck with a kick to the corner.

    Murray try, Costelow con.

The Scarlets maul makes good headway and after the forwards' hard work, the ball is moved wide for Blair Murray to dart over.

This is a great start from the Scarlets

    Scarlets 3-0 Ulster

Ulster's Werner Kok is trying to inject some width into his side's play.

It works on the first occasion as he sets Stuart McCloskey flying up the wing. Not so much on the second as his pass flies into touch without a black jersey in the same post code.

The error is compounded by Sam Costelow's smart 50:22.

The hosts are into Ulster's 22.

    Costelow

It's an early lead for Scarlets as Sam Costello knocks over three off the tee after Stuart McCloskey is pinged.

    Scarlets 0-0 Ulster

We mentioned earlier it was a red-letter day for Nathan Doak.

Well, it's more red face there as he gets a mile too much on his kick and it's out on the full.

    Scarlets back in possession.

    Scarlets 0-0 Ulster

No clear head contact say the officials and the game restarts with no penalty.

Ulster skipper Iain Henderson, it is fair to say, does not appear to agree.

Mike Lowry departs for an HIA and Jake Flannery is on in his place.

    Scarlets 0-0 Ulster

Mike Lowry is returning to the Ulster team for the first time since October and, within 30 seconds, he's absolutely smashed.

Could be trouble for Scarlets' Eddie James...
