Goes from bad to worse for the Scarlets, Jarod Taylor going off to conceding a try.

Neat little pass straight to Ringrose and they score.

    The numbers game tells!

From the penalty, Leinster set up a lineout and Josh van der Flier peels off and drives towards the line.

That creates the overlap and Garry Ringrose, back on the field after his early HIA, has the simple task of going over from close range.

Now this could be a crucial period.

Jarrod Taylor sees yellow for a dangerous tackle as Leinster's Brien Deeny returns to the field.

For a few minutes at least, it is 15 v 13 in Leinster's favour.

  4. 'Brilliant defensive work'published at 27 mins

    Leinster 0-7 Scarlets

That was some tackle by Tom Rogers to stop the winger scoring, it was a perfect kick from Ringrose as well.

Brilliant defensive work from the Scarlets.

    Leinster 0-7 Scarlets

    Hard to draw breath here!

Eliis Mee drops a high ball and Leinster pounce, with Joshua Kenny dragged down inches short of the line by Tom Rogers. But then Fletcher Anderson intercepts a Jamison Gibson-Park pass and the Scarlets break!

Rogers is the man who kicks ahead and in the scramble that follows, referee Davidson spots a knock-on and it's a Leinster scrum.

Thankfully, there is a brief pause in play now. Both sets of players might need it.

  6. 'Roberts can feel unlucky'published at 24 mins

    Leinster 0-7 Scarlets

Joe Roberts can feel really unlucky that he gets a yellow card by there.

But Leinster have men over and his right arm is out.

  7. Sin-binpublished at 23 mins

    Glasgow 0-7 Benetton

Benetton try-scorer Paolo Odugwu is shown a yellow card for a reckless head-on-head challenge on Johnny Matthews in which the centre came off worse.

No sympathy from the ref though. Off he goes.

  8. Sin-bin: Joe Robertspublished at 23 mins

    Leinster 0-7 Scarlets

    Now it's 14 v 14.

Joe Roberts looked harshly done by there as he penalised for an apparent deliberate knock-on in midfield.

It appeared a genuine effort at a tackle although the right arm was hovering out. One to debate for sure.

  9. Mistaken identitypublished at 22 mins

    Glasgow 0-7 Benetton

Glasgow prop Patrick Schickerling powers through a couple of tackles and looks to offload to a team-mate on his shoulder...except it's actually the touch judge who is wearing a dark top not dissimilar to the Warriors strip!

    What are we watching here?

A powerful burst from Fletcher Anderson and the Scarlets again attack the line, only for Leinster to win a critical turnover penalty.

The hosts are hanging on here.

  11. 'Scarlets deserve that'published at 18 mins

    Leinster 0-7 Scarlets

    Ifan Phillips

Fair play, the Scarlets deserve that, the lineup gives Scarlets a nice platform.

It was a lovely kick and great play by both the Scarlets centres and Gibson Park couldn't stop Joe Roberts going over.

  12. Sin-bin: Brian Deenypublished at 20:08 GMT 27 March

Gets worse for Leinster and better for Scarlets - home second row Brian Deeny was yellow carded in the aftermath of the try.

    Roberts try

The pre-match script has been ripped up here.

A clever little grubber kick from Johnny Williams is pounced on by centre partner Joe Roberts and he keeps his composure to gather the ball and diver over.

Joe Hawkins converts and that is no less than the visitors deserve.

Scarlets win a scrum penalty 25 metres out and for the fourth time in the opening 17 minutes, they opt for the lineout.

It's the visitors who strike first!

There's nothing fancy about it. Centre Paolo Odugwu gets the ball and runs hard and straight and blasts through a soft Johnny Matthews tackle to go in under the posts.

    Leinster 0-0 Scarlets

Blair Murray is evading the tackles now and the full-back turns defence into attack with a jinking run.

Joe Hawkins then pins Leinster back with a raking kick into the 22.

I'll be honest, I did think one team would have to weather an early storm tonight. I just didn't think it would be the URC champions.

    Ifan Phillips

Great build up play from the Scarlets, they would've been hoping to get something out of that pressure by there.

But it's brilliant play by McCarthy to turnover the ball.

Fairly uneventful opening 10 minutes or so at Scotstoun.

Sione Tuipulotu made one half-break after stepping away from a few defenders, but there's not been a whole lot of action near either try-line so far.

They don't make it count as Joe McCarthy managed to rip the ball in the lineout drive and Jamison Gibson-Park clears.

Fair play, Scarlets have come out with intensity but at the same time, can ill-afford to waste periods of pressure like that tonight.

Replays show he came up short, but referee Aimee Barrett-Theron takes us back for another Scarlets penalty and again, Joe Hawkins goes for the corner.

The visitors have to make this count.
