    Leinster 22-7 Scarlets

Scarlets are still pressing and fashion another lineout drive.

But replacement scrum-half Archie Hughes is caught and tries a basketball style pass to Ellis Mee which doesn't come off.

Ball is knocked on in the aftermath though and it's close range scrum for the Welsh side. To have any chance, they must strike here surely?

    Leinster 22-7 Scarlets

Some brilliant handling from Scarlets sets Blair Murray on a marauding run towards the posts.

In the phases that follow Sam Louisi and Max Douglas both carry strongly but eventually, the visitors are pushed further and further back as they struggle to make inroads and the attack peters out.

    Huge defensive set from Leinster.

The visitors have responded here. Kemsley Mathias is held up over the line but moments later, Joe Hawkins kicks a penalty to the corner.

But replacement hooker George Roberts can't find his man and the chance is lost.

This is a lot more like the Leinster we all know.

This all comes from Scarlets mistakes, they've invited Leinster onto them.

    A let-off for Glasgow.

If ever a moment summed up Warriors' slackness tonight, it's a mix-up in midfield between Sione Tuipulotu and Huw Jones - normally so in sync - that sees the ball go to ground.

Benetton pounce, recycle the ball and move it wide for Rhyno Smith to cut through a gap to score.

However the officials pick up and knock-on earlier in the move and the try is ruled out.

And in the blink of an eye, the bonus point is secured.

Jamison Gibson-Park is revelling in the space now and the number nine goes blind to set-up another attack.

It culminates in Jamie Osbourne making inroads before giving the scoring pass to Tommy O'Brien.

Two tries in three minutes for the winger, a bonus point for Leinster, and order restored at the Aviva.

That was a gift for the home side from the Scarlets.

They lost the line out, missed the tackles and Leinster done well to attack the spaces and it's a great pass from Gibson-Park to set up O'Brien.

    Glasgow spring into to life.

Sione Vailanu carries hard to take Glasgow into the red zone. Adam Hastings comes back to the short side and whips the ball wide to Fergus Watson who finishes well for a try on his debut.

Clearly Franco Smith's half-time team talk has had an effect!

    O'Brien

Leinster have come out firing and the pressure soon tells....

Scarlets stand firm for numerous phases before Dan Sheehan bursts through two tackles and powers towards the line. He's stopped short but creates the space for Jamison Gibson-Park who find Tommy O'Brien free on the left wing.

Just the start to the second-half the Scarlets did not want.

They were strong, they carried well, they offloaded and they played with such confidence.

They'll be so disappointed with those two yellow cards because it invited pressure back onto them and they were fantastic in that first 20 minutes.

A reminder of our big rugby story of the day, with under-fire Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) chair Richard Collier-Keywood confirming he will step down from his role this summer at the end of his three-year term.

Collier-Keywood has been in position since 2023 but will exit on 16 July after deciding not to seek a second term. The announcement comes ahead of an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on Monday, 13 April at which he was due to face a vote of no confidence.

"We wanted to make this announcement to enable the recruitment process to start and before the EGM is held so everyone goes into the EGM process with the benefit of the same knowledge," said Collier-Keywood.

    Jamie Roberts
    Former Wales international on S4C

I think the Scarlets players will be really pleased with that, especially in that first 20 or 30 minutes where they played with such power and such skill.

Really impressive, Scarlets have been brilliant.

    HT: Leinster 12-7 Scarlets

    What a half of rugby.

For nigh-on 30 minutes Scarlets, missing 15 players for this trip remember, were superb and the Joe Roberts try was no less than they deserved.

But as the half wore-on, the penalty count began to swing towards Leinster and sin-bins for the try-scorer and Jarrod Taylor took their toll.

Make no mistake though, in contrary to all the pre-match predictions, Leinster are in a real fight here.

Rhyno Smith bangs over a penalty with the final kick of the first half to ensure Benetton lead at the break.

Glasgow have been flying lately but that is as poor a first half as they have produced for quite some time.

Fair play to Benetton who have made a real fight of it. They remain outside bets to reach the play-offs but they are not throwing in the towel just yet.

    Leinster 12-7 Scarlets

That was an ominous moment for Scarlets as the Leinster scrum shunts them off their own ball at a rate of knots. The away pack was half way back to Dublin airport there.

Harry Byrne boots the penalty up towards the 22 and Scarlets have a minute to survive now.

They are back up to 15 players though.

    Matthews, Con: Hastings

    Glasgow level things up.

It's all a bit messy as a 5m Glasgow line out goes straight over the top to nobody but Adam Hastings reacts first to retain possession.

Warriors have a few cracks at the line and eventually Johnny Matthews is adjudged - after a lengthy examination by the TMO - to have grounded the ball.

    Hastings adds the extras.

The yellow cards really have punished the Scarlets.

Brilliant work from Leinster, Sheehan does brilliantly to keep that alive and Kenny does the rest.

Leinster recycle the ball so well in Scarlets' 22.

Joshua Kenny goes over out wide and for the first time tonight, Leinster lead.

From a lineout platform Dan Sheehan and Jamie Osbourne both show good handling skills and it creates the space for the winger to over in the corner.

They have had just 36 per cent possession so far, but the hosts are ahead.
