    Sharks 21-18 Saracens

The Saracens hooker is shown a yellow card for that high shot.

Referee Luc Ramos says there is mitigation to bring it down from red as there was a change of direction from Mapimpi before he was caught.

    Sharks 21-18 Saracens

The TMO comes in and a tackle by Saracens hooker Theo Dan on Sharks wing Makazole Mapimpi is being scrutinised.

Dan catches the Springbok wing with a shoulder to his head.

Is there any mitigation is the question.

    Clermont 14-23 Sale

About 20 minutes left at Stade Marcel-Michelin and Sale's lead remains nine points.

Changes galore and about as many errors in the past 10 minutes or so, with Clermont dominating possession but then struggling to create anything meaningful.

All-action England man Ben Earl is on for the visitors.

Might he have a part to play in the outcome of this one?

    Fergus Burke

Saracens have a penalty bang in front of the posts just outside the 22 and will do the sensible thing.

Fergus Burke does the honours and pulls Sarries within three.

Plenty of time left in this one.

Springbok Jordan Hendrikse is on in his place.

    Rob du Preez

Sale get a penalty midway inside the Clermont half and Rob du Preez kicks three points to stretch the visitors' lead up to nine.

That just takes the air out of the Clermont balloon a little bit following that recent Lucas Zamora try.

Sale have got a couple of minutes left with 14 men on the field, following Arron Reed's yellow card.

    Sharks 21-15 Saracens

Sharks scrum-half Grant Williams sends a kick spiralling into the rainy sky and Makazole Mapimpi is underneath it in the Sarries 22.

But the Sharks go off their feet at the breakdown and the visitors have a penalty.

And as Sharks come again that is a nasty looking injury to Aphelele Fassi.

He springs away from a tackle but is clipped and falls into a second Sarries tackler's body - he drops the ball immediately as he falls to ground and it looks like a head injury.

Fingers crossed he is ok - he's up and about which is great to see.

    Lucas Zamora (con: Zamora)

    Intercept try for Clermont!

Raffi Quirke's pass to the left is cut out by a Clermont forward but he was never going to make it to the line without being tackled... so replacement scrum-half Lucas Zamora takes over and touches down for the hosts.

Zamora knocks over the conversion and it's a one-score game again.

    Close!

Charlie Bracken kicks behind for Rotimi Segun to get his skates on but the wing is beaten to the ball by Makazole Mapimpi.

It's good pressure from Sarries but they will want something to show for it on the scoreboard.

    Clermont 7-20 Sale

Bonus-point try for Sale! Sale break down the left touchline, then work an overload on the right and Jacques Vermeulen cruises over.

But hang on - the officials just want to check something. Will it count?

No it won't - Arron Reed cleared out Sebastien Bezy at a ruck in the build-up and made head-to-head contact. It was a glancing blow and the officials deem it's a low degree of danger, so the Sale full-back is shown a yellow card.

    Sharks 21-15 Saracens

Well that's changed things a bit hasn't it.

Five minutes before half-time Saracens were 15-7 up but the Sharks have come storming back with two tries to take the lead.

That try in added time will annoy Sarries as it came from a penalty after an unnecessary late tackle by Andy Onyeama-Christie.

That was looked at meticulously by the officials. Or rather it took a long time and with no clear angle the try was awarded.

Edwill van der Merwe (con: Whitehead)

Edwill van der Merwe dives into the corner to put Sharks in front in first-half added time!

But it's being checked by the TMO.

They are looking at the last pass - was it forward?

No clear evidence says the referee and it stands!

Aphelele Fassi kicks the ball away and it looks like that is half-time.

But the referee brings it back for a late hit on Fassi and Sharks go to the corner - one more chance they weren't expecting.

    On we go.

Sharks are suddenly back in the ascendency in the scrum, winning the last few and they are not shy in celebrating it.

A kick goes into Saracens territory and there's one last chance for Sharks before the break.

Can Sarries hold them out and take that lead into half-time?
